First and foremost, I've been there for almost 3 yrs(inb4lulznicecareerphaggot) its just a part time job ive had since my jr year of high school. I've seen EVERYTHING there. And i was talking with my assistant manager, she told me how if everyone knew the way CVS is, they'd go bankrupt. I'll tell you how to rip this place off easily:
-You can easily place a sale tag WHEREVER you want in the store. For example, you can place a sale tag for $2.99 on a spot where an item could be $25.99 and if you ask the cashier to call up a manager and show the manager, they HAVE to modify the price for you for $2.99. It's their rule. If they say otherwise, it's a lie. If the store manager won't let you, simply tell them you'll be sending an email to the district manager and they'll GLADLY change the price then.
-If you call the store manager of a certain CVS and/or the district manager and complain about the cashier. Or even make up lies about them (seen PLENTY of customers lie about the cashiers there) you'll automatically be sent a gift card to the store up to $50
-In most CVS's, there are only cameras up front at the registers, a camera facing the razor blades, a camera facing the cologne/perfumes, a camera facing the pharmacy, and a camera in the cough & cold section. You can EASILY shop lift. Every other isle in the stores are fake cameras.
-You can legit bring back something thats 99% used up and say it wasn't the right 1 and you wanna return it, they have to return it. HAVE TO. I've seen this done so many times (especially w/ the crest white strips that are like 45.99 and people used like 80% of the box and said they weren't the right ones and STILL got a refund.
-They have this "Extra bucks" system where some items that are on promo have a sale where you buy the item, you'll get a said amount of extra bucks on your receipt. This is basically a coupon you can choose for the next purchase. Every week they usually have a big item like that. For example, if a promo is that you buy Mucinex for 19.99, you'll get a 10 dollar extra buck coupon. You can buy it, then later cut off the coupon, and later return the item and you can still keep the coupon. You can keep redoing this cycle, so it's basically shoplifting w/out getting in trouble. So easy to do and a couple customers actually do this already.
Just bored & fed up with my job so i figure i'd make this thread to slowly take CVS down. F this company!
tl;dr CVS stands by the motto: The Customer's Always Right. If everyone knew their real policy, they'd go bankrupt (srs)
