Should there be a subsection of this forum for bench press questions?

    I will start.

I think no, because then there would only be 5 posts a day in this section.

I dont have a problem with 150-180lb people. Just on this forum 90% of them seem to be individuals who train 'for the ladies' wont gain weight because they will lose their 6 pack.
This then stops them from having their shirt off 20 something days of the year at a beach.
They can then also post photos of their abs on this website.

EDIT: Ladies like pecs, abs and small guys who kind of look muscular because they are lean. this seems to be the mindset. it also seems to be the reason why we get 1000 bench questions.

I just like to post ridiculous asshat answer in the threads. Then it makes them cry about us all being big meanies, which allows me to make fun of them more. I like to take my anger out on ***gots over the internet.

The funny thing is, all these kids bash PLers in the misc all day, then when they want to know how to really get strong they come here and ask us. Kind of ironic huh?

    What's wrong with bench?

Actually it does get annoying seeing the same questions over and over and over (How do I use leg drive, need to get my bench up, how's my form brah?). But splitting it into its own subforum is a bad idea. It won't stop them from still posting it here.

There's nothing wrong with bench! It's my best lift!

The problem is, as endpoint pointed out, the majority of the questions are from these kids who are about 5'10 and 155lbs asking how to get their bench up 100lbs while cutting 10lbs so they can have abs for beach season. And the refuse to gain weight because they automatically think they will get fat.

Haha, when have we ever had a leg drive question? I'd welcome a leg drive question - at least it'd be a valid discussion

The problem is, as endpoint pointed out, the majority of the questions are from these kids who are about 5'10 and 155lbs asking how to get their bench up 100lbs while cutting 10lbs so they can have abs for beach season. And the refuse to gain weight because they automatically think they will get fat.
But you need the abs bro.

I'm no expert in the serious condition of hereditary foetal alcohol syndrome, but you should probably get yourself checked out given your family's obvious pre-disposition.
Koyongi: I am going to accomplish this by following a haphazard training system, and forging elite fitness.

    We just need better stickies

And when we tell people 'read the stickies' we need to explain what they are becuase the name doesn't really tell you **** to a newb.

We have like 18 stickies and most of them are not needed. (lifter rankings, pr thread, john broz thread though it kicks ass does not need to be stickied it will stay bumped ect)

    How about this:
just before you post, it comes up with a screen saying 'if this is in regards to bench press, please read the following articles"

I shouldn't take out my frustrations with this board

That's absolutely not what I was getting at, and I apologize if that's how it came off. I won't get into the abs thing, but my point was...if you are 170 lbs and can only bench 225...EAT!!! At those sizes they could gain 30 lbs and still look good, and their bench would go up...**** you can be 200-300 lbs with a six pack for all I care.
