has never met anyone on the black side of his family anything. (srs)

my real father (who is black) was abusive to my mother (who is white), so she left him and moved to a different state. he never bothered to call, write, or reach out to me...so for almost 22 years i've been living entirely with the white side of my family. (i'm the only one of a different race out of all of us. again srs)

i have a half sister who is white, and my mother has always done a great job at showing us she loves us both equally. even though if we all go out as a family, people assume im either adopted or that my sister is my girlfriend (srs)

I remember an episode of true life where a puerto rican guy had a kid with a white chick. When the baby was born the white chick's sister held the baby in her arms and called him a mutt. I wanted to kick that woman's teeth in, and felt sorry for the kid who would live with that family, and the father who was a punk.

the white chicks fam treated the PR guys nationality as if it was a disease...

it's because i dont even know where they are. 22 years ago they were in texas, but since then they've all grown up and moved their separate ways. i know i have at least 1 half brother on my black side, but that's all i know.

yeah brah it's good and bad. i have no one here to relate to. like even though im biracial, i have the appearance of a black man. and growing up my mother and step father (who is white) didnt know how to really take care of my needs as far as things like my hair goes. i love my parents tho and wouldn't trade them for the world, but it wasn't easy growing up like this.

brah honestly if i ever saw my father i'd beat his ass for what he did to my mother (srs) i have no idea where they're at. my mother never kept me away from him, but at this point it's like i have a step father (who i call my real dad because he's more of a dad than my real one ever was) and that's all i need.

Yes, sir. Dad's black, mom's white. But I always wondered where we'd fall. My friends say ***** to me well. Well mainly my other mixed friend.

well everyone accepts me. i've dated black girls, white girls, spanish, etc. and i have tons of friends from different races. so it's not like i dont fit in when it comes to the social world, it's just i don't really fit in when it comes to my family.

yeah that's the thing i like the most. not to say a person can actually "like white things" or "like black things", but people are surprised when i tell them i watch shows like the office, and that i listen to SOME country music. i guess they expect me to speak ebonics and sag my jeans.
