It would reach the max light speed but it wouldn't surpass it. Is it that you can't reach light speed? I thought it just was that you couldn't go faster than speed of light.

Although I'd imagine it isn't 100% impossible. If space itself can travel faster than the speed of light, who knows what might be possible in the future? It may not even be necessary to travel faster than light if we can use worm holes

that doesnt make sense to me. if i am stationary then light is moving at 3x10^8m/s relative to me.

But if Im moving at 100m/s then wouldnt light be moving at (3x10^8m/s-100m/s)?
