Before I started, I decided to bulk up in the winter and cut the weight off for this contest. As you can see from the pictures, I went a little overboard with the dirty foods. When I have cheat meals, I go all out, and once I have one, the cravings are present for the next couple of days. Throughout the 10 weeks, I followed a low/no carb cut diet with one reefed meal per week. I was very strict with my diet making sure to get all the necessary meals in and to eat clean the entire time. I had succeeded. My thoughts of this contest entailed it was something good for me to pursue. It helped me achieve goals by staying motivated and having an end result to shoot for. Plus, winning or being recognized in the upper contestants would be nice also. It's nice to see so many people like myself who kept motivated for the 10 weeks and had great transformations in the process.
The supplements that were meant for the contest helped greatly. I'm used to gulping down pills, so taking 6 NO-Beta tablets were not a problem for me. I would take 3 in the morning and 3 before my workout. The pumps and energy it gave me were great. Whenever I would feel tired and groggy or wasn't in the right mindset for the gym I would take my pills and was ready to go! The energy it gave me while at the gym made it feel as if I could keep going past my workout regiments. Not only did it give me a great amount of energy, but the pump it gave me was also quite existent, especially for biceps and legs. The pump acquired would also often last a few hours past my workout. Originally I had taken a tub of lemon lime Creadyl, but recently switched over to the orange cream. I enjoyed the orange cream a lot because it felt as if I were drinking orange juice, without the guilt of carbs! It mixed very easily in a shaker bottle and almost as easy with a spoon too. When taken with NO-Beta, I believe it helped contribute to the intense pumps and vasts amount of energy, even on a carbless diet. After looking at the before and after pictures, I believe the Creadyl helped me maintain a lot of my size while still maintaining to trim down key areas.
Overall, the contest was a success. At the start of the contest I weighed 219 lbs. and finished at a weight of about 200 lbs. Many people and I am very impressed with myself. Although there is always room for improvement, the transformation made in such a short amount of time is a great confidence booster and sense of achievement. Goals for next time would not be to eat so much crap foods even if you are on a bulk and to experiment with other diets, workouts, and supplementation. I can definitely see myself entering the 2010 Double-T Contest. It is a great way to gain motivation and the supplements from Double-T are spot on and have gained my respect with the hopes of using them again. I'd like to thank the Double-T staff for this exciting and new experience and to other forum members for their support and motivation.
