2010 Double-T Sports: CreaDyl / NO-Beta Transformation Challenge
I am a little late to start my "log" but I am officialy registered for the NO-Beta transformation challenge as of April 13, 2010. I wont be doing my "log" every day as some have but will be doing it consistently. I wish you all the luck in the world but have little interest in revealing too much about my plan to transform my body because this is still a competition.
Here is my workout schedule:
Resistence Training - 4 days a week
Abs - 2 -3 days a week
Hight Intensity Cardio - 2 days a week
Low intensity Cardio - 4 days a week
My diet is the tough part. The person who wins this transformation is going to be the person who eats the best, the most consistently. I am typically good 5 days out of the week. Then I'll slip up and eat poorly, but usually just for one meal, sometimes two, never an entire day.
The supplements should be here monday so my workouts should get better.
What I have learned about getting back into shape? Its bitter sweet. My body is used to eating awful foods, now it struggles when my meals consist of chicken, tuna, fish, accompanied with broccoli, brown rice, fruits, etc. The downside is wanting pizza, and usually always feeling hungry, the upside is my clothes fit, people are beginning to make mention of how my face looks skinnier or ask if I've been going to the gym.
So to make this official per the Double T website:
My name is William Davis, I am 25 years old, my starting weight was roughly about 215. My height is almost 5'9", making me medically obese. My goal weight is 170 lbs. So that means I have to lose 45 lbs in 16 weeks to reach my goal. That equates out to 2.8 lbs a week, a very doable goal. I will be using Creadyl and NO-beta. I will be someone to look out for in this competition.
Good luck to everyone, my official registration means you will all need it.
Thanks and work hard. Boom.

Good luck bro! I am only a week into my 16 week challenge. I am in the same boat so let me know if you have any questions about my experiences or vice versa. Just remember even though we are competing against each other our real competitor is ourselves.
After 1 week: weighed 203 in middle of day 1 and on day 7 weighed 194.8 first thing in morning. These are some great products.
YOU CAN DO IT BRO!

I went with the lemon lime. I havent heard too much about what flavor tastes better but I plan on ordering both by the end of the competition.

Thanks and the same to you. Everyday is a battle against bad foods, my gym time is perfect, I just struggle with the diet.

Thanks. I started this thing in an effort to get in shape and maybe win something but now I really think I'd be interested in body building. 16 weeks is a long time but all the support on the forums makes it easier. Thanks again.

Are you doing any kind of specific diet or just attempting to eat better?

Good luck, going to be following along.
As for diet, try some carb cycling at first, then as you progress can do refeeds and then drop out carbs more.
What is your supp lineup looking like?

I just got my Double T supplements in today, trying them out tonight actually, buts its a high intensity cardio and ABs night so I'm really looking forward to arms tomorrow morning.
For supplements outside of the double t line up Im taking BCAA (5 grams daily), Glutamine (5grams daily), Multi Vitamin, ZMA, and protein. Ive done carb cycling but its so hard to keep up with.

I took a scoop of creadyl and a serving of beta this morning before my "arms" workout. I could feel the additional energy, when I typically dont because my body is used to NO products. It was different getting used to drinking the Creadyl during my workout as directed on the bottle. Does everyone take it this way or are some people taking it completely before a workout? And can you tell me where I can get my OIN number from? I forgot to write it down and I want to register my purchase on the double T website.

I drink it on the way to the gym. I usually just chug water while I workout. I get really thirsty while I workout. I probably drink close to 3 liters of water.
As for the OIN number, I don’t have mine either and it let me submit it anyway. I don’t even recall getting an OIN number. Maybe one of the reps could help both of us if we need it for other things.

Well, I try to stay between 1800 to 2200 calories a day. I also try and eat at least 7 meals a day.
I have been pretty detailed on my diet if you want to check it out.

Getting these legs back
I take the Creadyl pre-workout. It's a bit too sweet to drink intra-workout, imo. I want something I can chug during my workouts - which leads me to Glutacene or plain water.
8+ servings of fruits and vegetables in only 2 tsps of Greens. It's the best tasting, smallest serving of a Greens products that I've ever used. Order at www.fitwraps.net.

Ive never drank anything within 30 min of a workout so its actually tough getting used to. This morning was the second time and it was much easier, I'll have to look into Glutacene, never heard of it.

I like to think I eat that well but yesterday was terrible. This time of the year I travel doing audits and its so difficult to eat well when I cant always pack my lunch. I still average 2-3 lbs loss a week and all my lifts continue to go up so I hope that means I'm not losing muscle. But I figure I have so much weight to lose in the beginning that slipping up probably isnt as bad now as it will be the last 4 weeks.

I disagree. End the end, a calorie is a calorie. If you're going to go higher, fat doesn't really matter. And, if you're going to pay attention to the macros, what I would concentrate more on is fat and carbs together. So either get the carbs or get the fat. Personally, I prefer the fat.

I second that. The extra fat is so much more fulfilling.

Definitely agree with Simpy. People should worry more about total Kcals rather than macros until the macros cause a problem.

I find it difficult to get fats above all else. I end up eating (when Im eating well) high protein, moderate carbs, and then my fats end up being too low. I try to do a 50,30,20 split between Protein, Carbs, and Fats. When I follow my diet I dont eat starchy carbs past noon.
I have still lost good weight and seen good strength gains even when i cheat 3-5 times a week but i'd love to find the discipline to eat better more consistently.

2 weeks in
So I am two weeks in and have posted a before and after of my back so go check it out... My workouts have been great, the supplements make gym life easier.
I didnt want to give away my strategy but here is my workout:
Monday - Rest
Tuesday - High intensity cardio and Abs (35 minutes of cardio)
Wednesday - Biceps and Triceps finishing with 25 minutes of light cardio
Thursday - Shoulders, lats, and traps finishing with 25 minutes of light cardio
Friday - High intensity cardio and Abs (35 minutes of cardio)
Saturday - Chest finishing with 25 minutes of light cardio
Sunday - Legs and Back - finishing with 25 minutes of light cardio
Today I did Chest
Incline DB Press - 4 sets (12,10,8,6)
Decline DB Press - 3 sets (12,12,12)
Flat DB Press - 4 sets (12,10,8,6)
Incline DB Flys - 4 sets (12,10,8,6)
Cable Crossover - 3 sets (15,15,15)
Dips - 4 sets failure
Its been working pretty well, my strength has gone up and I really feel it all over my chest the next day rather than just my upper or lower pecs.

Hey Davis, Lemme start off by letting you know Ill be right here with ya in the comp and active in your Log along the way. Best of luck to you and it looks like you are off to a good start. Saw your Q about the Macros, simply put they are the major nutrients your body needs to thrive; Protein, Carbs and Fat.
I see you posted earlier that your are following a 50-30-20. How has that been working for you? I was following a 40-40-20 but have found myself consuming more and more protein, my energy and endurance seem a bit higher lately. How long have you been following this and are you getting the same results?

Good work out. SelfMotivation is right about what I meant when I said macros. By the way, what weights did you use for your workout? And can you do me a favor and post up a review here on your thoughts on No Beta and Creadyl up to now? Thanks!
