    Never understood people who just completely skip leg workouts all the time. You look fuking retarded no calves/upper legs and a decently built upper body.

    My legs look like that, with a tad more definition in the calves. But I have naturally skinny legs. They have grown, but its hard for me. I have been working legs constantly since I started working out, and all lifts have gone up.

    Loved working them out when i first started because I went up in squats 10lb every week at least. Used to work legs up to 3 times a week a year ago. Developed good quads and since i am semi genetically gifted in that department, i dont have to hit them with full intensity for them to keep growing.

    I also read that for you to reach a certain size without roids, you have to have a certain size in your quads/hams/calfs etc.

    It increases growth hormone/test(?) but not to a signifigant enough degree.

    There will be people arguing that working legs releases hormones and shixt that will make your upper body grow. Studies have shown that the hormones released are not significant. I think this theory is bullsht.


    My Real Theory:
    You will probably need to work your legs at a certain point, most people have a rule that your arms grow an inch every 10-15lb of muscle, so growing 15lb of muscle while only working upper body may get hard after awhile. Seeing as legs grow fast and respond well, working them will help you reach those 15lb a lot easier.

    I used to hate working legs, but once you start doing it for a while its not so bad. I'm happy I naturally have pretty big calves (not very defined yet) which is a great start. I think it just feels better to workout your upper body though which is prob why a lot of people hate doing legs.

    I'm working legs 2x per week.

    Monday:
    -Squats 1X5 (ramped to a 5RM)
    -Front squats 3x5
    -SLDL 3x5

    Thursday-
    -Hack squat 4x8-12 (love/hate these, they're painful as phuck done slow and controlled. I feel like my quads are really improving.)
    -DB or BB lunge 3x-8-12
    -Leg curl 3x8-12
    -Leg press 3-4 sets different rep schemes (drop sets, charles glasse style, ect)
    -Leg extn. 3x10-15

    What you brahs think about that?


    Also been hitting calves hard 2-3x per week, hopefully they will start growing.

    I don't skip legs but I don't work them hard either. I already have naturally big quads and calves that don't require much work.
