30 reps instead of 6-12 which is for size?
the other day I did 30 reps for my trap exercises and boom my traps were huge.. and today i did the 6-12 reps and they couldn't even come close to the size that my traps were with the 30 reps..
seems odd that people say 30 reps is best for toned cut and 6-12 is best for size.

If your doing a set of 10 Reps, you should be struggling by around rep #6, by rep #8-9 it should be difficult enough that you almost have to cheat and use momentum. If it's too easy, your weight is too light. By lifting heavy, you literally tear your muscles and they regrow back into a bigger "lump" (think of the "tennis ball" shape in your bicep)
