    What's best to take / eat before early morning cardio?

    I need to start doing my cardio first thing in am (before breakfast) and just wondering what, if anything, you guys have beforehand. Like a protein shake or some caffeine? Or just a completely empty stomach?

    Empty stomachs good, but it makes me throw up. I eat like 4-5 crackers to settle my stomach. I don't think there's any real correct answer to this. Do whatever makes you feel the best/last the longest at your desired pace.

    Complete empty stomach.

    Anything you eat prior to that morning cardio session is what you'll be burning. If you eat nothing, you're tapping more into stored fat for your energy during the cardio session. Just keep it to a 30 minute session (or more if you feel you can), and you're good.
