I actually prefer the look of the Rogue (I don't say that very often). Not that its a big deal, I could live with either I think. The material above the top hooks on the AF is useless. They could have easily made that a 5 bar with zero dimension changes. The materials could have been used more efficiently and made it more functional.

My wife likes the look of the Rogue better because it has more rounded edges

Keeping it simple
Plenty good ideas in this thread, will have to subscribe to this thread
It surprises me how many people refuse to buy equipment from Elitefts because its too expensive but they will buy equipment from their competitors, then continue to go on EFS website regulary to educate themselves for FREE

Anyone reading this for ideas...Again Faster emailed me back to confirm that the height of their racks is 24 inches, and they do fit the plate area of OLY barbells. I haven't finalized what I'm doing for my storage yet. My specialty rackable hex and swiss bars would each take up alot of space on one rack, requiring that I have two stacked of whatever I buy, so I still haven't ruled out the DIY route. Could save cash to use for something else. Mulling it all over.

I used the U shaped ones to hang smaller accessories like those for my Lat tower and dumbbell handles.
I'm going to install these over the weekend.
Just to hang my lat-pull down attachment bar, small lat pull down bar and dip bars.
I will also make some space for the dip belt my other half is buying me for my birth day

How did the installation go?

I'm curious to know as well
I tried bending one of the hooks shown earlier so the U would be upright, but it didn't go so well (broke). At Walmart, found these on clearance (the right-most hook one for $1 each). http://www.walmart.com/ip/Bulldog-Ha...Hooks/16940236
Wasn't sure if I'll use them for barbells or not - would use them somewhere around the house. Might give it a go though. Only concern is how far out from the wall the bar would be given that these are quite long.
Just not sure I want to spend my money I've got available on those racks when I need other things as well, so still mulling it over.

To continue the wall storage thread, I came across a barbell rack that I can pick up locally. It is on FitnessDepot dot ca website, and we have one of their stores. It is made by Northern Lights (which is located less than an hour from me). The store doesn't stock it regularly but have ordered one for me for $34.88. You can see it here:
http://shop.fitnessdepot.ca/Gun-Rack...x#.UZwL69h4XXo (nice low price of $34.88)
or on the manufacturers site here:
http://www.nlfit.com/product.asp?cat...roduct_id=1384 (shown at regular price of $52.50)
I'll be using it for a standard bar, swiss bar, and rackable hex bar. Not the most efficient use of a 6 bar rack , but I like the look. The three of them should just fit. I wrote the manufacturer to confirm that the sleeve portions of my bars will fit in the rack, which is how it has to work to get the three different bars in it.
Given the sale price and no shipping costs, it comes in much cheaper than the other options for actual racks, so I'm glad I mulled it over for awhile.
Once I have it and mount it on the wall, I'll update this thread.

emp1acur, the rack looks good and the price is great. Don't worry about the extra spaces as they fill up quickly, just call Garageiron as I'm sure that he can help you find a few more "nice" bars .
Be sure to give a review when you set the rack up. Good luck.

Wow, that's a good deal!
Man, NL is really going after the Canadian "Rogue" market! They don't even pretend to put their own slant on the designs. They are just straight up copying Rogues products and selling them cheaper (The irony of this is quite funny).
