what r some good source of carbs to take after working out after 10 pm while cutting? i would do a search but im about to go work out and this question just came up right before when i was about to walk out the door.

Dextrose is one of the best carbs you can have post workout. It's very quickly absorbed and digested and has some very positive results.
Usually a Whey Protein shake with Dextrose, about 40g of protein and about 40g of Dextrose, is a really good idea.Ron J

When you work out, your muscles are starving for protein and carbs. Basically the dextrose is going to get sucked into them so quickly it's not even going to matter to your fat loss. So yes, even when cutting, have those post workout carbs. Carbs are a transport agent for proteins. In order for the muscles to get the protein they need, it has to take a ride on the carbs.

The best source would be to find pure dextrose powder. However gatorade powder is also a good thing for it. I'm not certain if Powerade has it or not.

Fructose is actually pretty bad.
Gatorade Powder should be a lot cheaper than OJ anyway, I would think. It contains dextrose.Ron J
