    Straps Heavy wieght wrist damage advice

    Here is the aftermath or 235 8 times dead lift anyone got advice on how to prevent this any input is appreciated plz don't suggest not using straps due to fact I cannot hold more then 190 in my hands they are just not strong enough I have tried alot

    Never had this problem buddy, looks like you didnt have a good grip on the bar and you let the straps pull on your wrist way to much. Wrap it tighter

    lol ya i hear you it is kinda the mark that ur a beast lol I haven't been able to deadlift in the past due to a knee problem so its really nice for me to finally be able to do it without pain and with real weight

    pulled 335x12 for 5/3/1 with my straps and they only left a minor buise, are yours padded or just the nylon/cotton/whatever? also it looks like youre not wrapping right if the strap goes up that high on the top of your forearm

    Just start doing things without straps as much as you can. Chalk up for deadlifts, and only use the straps when you actually can't grip the bar anymore.

    I used straps for a bit, but then I just started getting too lazy for straps. Haven't had a problem with my grip since, I can pull 405 with just some chalk.

    no straps > straps in my opinion.

    I've misplaced my straps some where in my house. Not that my lifts were heavy enough to warrant them lol. Chalk isn't allowed in my gym. Still see it from time to time from the old schoolers.
