can pro hormones permenantly effect libido/erection problems?

hi guys,

I'm 19 and have been taking pro hormones on and off since for about a year. I know im an idiot for taking them so young. trust me ive learned my lesson. i didnt know until now that i shouldnt take them till im 21+.I have never had a problem bouncing back after a cycle until now. I never even took a serm until now. I took finaflex 550 xd and then took post cycle tabs by ids. and i felt fine after. i was still having sex on and off the cycle so i started another cycle 2 months later because i though time on + length of pct= how long you should wait to start another cycle. so I started finaflex ripped. and took a months worth of revolution pct and then half a bottle of post cycle tabs by ids. I knew something was wrong because i had no sex drive AT ALL. so i went searching around on some forums including this one and saw that i should probably have taken a serm and i was probably shut down. so i took nolva 40/40/ then took 3 days of 20 mgs and got some bloodwork done on the last day of the nolva. heres the blood work.

testosterone, serum- 1029 ng/dl (280-800)
free testosterone- 24.9 pg/ml (9.3-26.5 pg/ml)
LH- 18.0 (1.7-8.6)
FSH- 11.6 (1.5-12.4)
TSH- 1.630 (0.450-4.500)
Estrodial- 48.3 pg/ml (7.6-42.6)
prolactin- 9.3 ng/ml (4.0-15.2)
estrogens, total- 110 (40-115)

but ive been off nolva for 21 days now and still no libido return.... I am going to try and get more bloodwork done tomorrow to see where im at now. I just dont understand why i have no sex drive and i cant maintain an erection still. I've never had this problem with any previous cycles. is there a possibility that my libido just may never return even if my hormone levels are correct?


p.s. i have seen an endocrinologist and she told me my libido will return once my hormones balance out

Don't take PH/DS again. Give it time and listen to your doctor. To me your results are over normal readings, so finish your pct, wait a few weeks and get another blood done.

I'd check the symptoms people sometimes experience with high levels of LH and see if any of them match how you feel.

edit: kinda odd that your libido isn't there, yet your total and free test are so high.

His TSH is within normal range. TSH- 1.630 (0.450-4.500)

the high LH levels were from the nolva. thats why i specified that the blood was taken WHILE ON NOLVA.

No don't buy anything. Finish whatever PCT your on, and keep in touch with your endo. Of course you will bounce back, you are young. In the meantime go get a viagra prescrip.

sorry. its just really frustrating. i couldnt go to sleep last night because all i was doing was researching pro hormone use and libido/ed issues. i just want to be normal again. stamina rx ill look into it. and yes i told my endo EVERYTHING.

i was in your same exact spot in summer, but i had done worse. i didn't use any type of serm to bring me back to life, i used 2 straight bottles of bioforge. get you some if you can find them. after about a month or 2 everything will be better, and will continue to get better from there. just saved your life bud.

I was always a good 7 inches erect and a walking hardon but ever since that crap its been down and I just feel mad all day. yea i just started taking some horny goat weed and i can get it up but its not fully hard still. atleast its a step though. ill look into those too. thanks man

I think the high estrodial level is what is effecting your libido. while everything else may be near the normal range, your system needs a break.

I was thinking that too but i thought maybe it was to account for the high test numbers. im going to get bloodwork done tomorrow. anything else i should get checked other than the ones i had checked before? some people were saying cholesterol levels, lipids, DHEA, and SHBG

Lay off the broscience suggested fixes until you know what's wrong. Ask for a sample of viagra or cialis if you must, but don't start taking more pills and hoping for the best. Afterall that's what got you here in the first place.

As I told you before in the other post, it's going to take time. This will be a ****ty 2-3 month period of your life, you won't make the same mistake ever again though. Looking back in a year it won't be as big of a deal, you will just be happy your fixed.

i am taking an herbal supplement that i just started yesterday called male response. it has horny goat weed, tribulus,l-argenine,vit e, vit b-6,maca, yohimbe, and some other stuff im not sure what it does. but it cant hurt me right since its all natural? yea i know i just keep going in phases of freaking out when i see someone post a thread saying its been a year and their sex drive still isnt normal and i just cant even fathom how it would be to not be able to have sex for a whole nother year. i know im over reacting but its probably better than not reacting at all. thanks for the advice man. ill have those new blood levels up in a few days. im going to get them checked tomorrow morning at 1030 am. results should be back within a few days.

I will say it again, NO PH/AAS until the age of 23!!! Also you did things wrong my friend. First off, your LH is out of whack because of the hpta shutdown, next time run hcg 250iu e3d during cycle and you will not have shutdown. Pct nolva 20mg x 5 weeks to be safe. But the biggest mistake was the hcg, never, ever, run a cycle without running hcg along with it, your testes will stay primed and pct will be a breeze. These chemicals are not for little boys, and now you see why, good luck on your recovery.

I wonder what kind of a thing is this libido loss??? what happens when you loose your libido? your thing does not want to work anymore? or is it just something mental??

I took a bunch of things (test boosters, ai's, propecia, some other meds) which are said to make you loose your libido and I never felt anything less if not I got hornier! lol

I'm in the same boat bro, AI's aren't killing my libido. I will admit that I don't spring up to attention as I did before I started the AI, but within 30 seconds I am at full mast

I feel for ya man!! I am in the same boat except older(24) I took a cycle of finnaflex ripped last october and followed it with a bottle of novadex xt. My sex drive is still dead from that ****!!
