Question How can I get rid of this 'dip' between my love handles and thighs?

I have marked on these pictures the 'dip' that I am talking about. Is that there because my love handles are too big? There is not just one, smooth continuous curve from the love handles to thigh...it gets broken up by that dip. I hate it!

Is this something that will go away when my love handles reduce in size? Or would it still be there even if I lost all the weight I could (is it just my body shape, bone structure or whatever?)

I am confused as to why it's there and if it's possible to get rid! Can I build muscle in that area to get one, defined curve and no dip?

Just a note, these pics are pretty horrid:

Its all about reducing body fat. As you lose those dips and dents will get smoother.

Like the other girls have said it's all about lowering your body fat, which goes back to your diet.

Yup... I carry my weight the same way - this 'dip' will go away as you get leaner.

In kinesiology, the professor said that some people will have it because of their tensor fasciae latae muscles being larger than the surrounding muscles.

Picture The origin/insertion points are correct for the location of the dent.

I too have the same issue. I struggle so bad with my stubborn love handles. It takes a while to lose them. I have been on this weight loss regime for over a year and I still havent gotten rid of them. I find if you hit your obliques hard, it helps balance it out a bit. I wish you the best of luck, and you have a beautiful figure!! You have an hour glass shape. good luck with everything

    Thighs

Thigh toner - like the one used in ChaLean Extreme by Beachbody - will BURN the thighs and the rest of your body - lots of anaerobic cardio.

Yeah I too think it's a mixture of losing body fat and working your obliques. I just started working my obliques hard and let me tell you... I see a huge difference and it's been about a month. Good luck!
