I normally only eat White Albacore in water but things are tight so I thought about switching to Light Tuna in water. I work for WalMart and they have a Great Value brand for .60 in water and the brand names run up to a buck or more a can. So is Great Value bad tuna?

My favorite is Chicken of the Sea, because its always in chunks and not shredded.....2nd is Bumble Bee. If those aren't availale or aren't on sale, I'll grab the house brands. Haven't messed with Starkist--its never on sale.
As far as price goes, I'd encourage you to look for other ways to save money rather than saving 10 cents a can on tuna! I'm sure there's other areas (Soda, Clothing, etc.) where you can cut out excess without relegating yourself to lower-quality protein sources.
