I've have that as well, however I have had it my entire life. Its called having a distended stomach (for those who have it due to natural and non-dietary reasons). Ive been looking for ways to try and flatten it out to little success. Ive been doing stomach vaccums, but havent seen much results yet.

Same problem, not that pronounced on most days and especially earlier in the day (with less food in me) and I also have a very low BF; when I flex all of my 6 abdominals are very visible and rock hard to the touch, also when flexed my stomach is flat.
I get the feeling that that's basically quite normal and partially genetics, some guts stick out a bit more, some a bit less. Except when you come down to like 4-6% levels, then it's probably flat most of the time without flexing.

Could also be gluten intolerant. Try eating just veggies, fruit, eggs, fish, and meat, and nothing else for a week. Eat NO grains, breads, pasta, dairy, etc. Some people need to stop eating beans, also. See if it eases. If it does, you may have your answer. You will be healthier on this eating plan, also.

The only reason to have a distented stomach if you rule out dietary reasons is lack of trasversus muscles and or lack of back muscles creating a bad gut sticking out posture.
But there's no anatomical inborn justification for a distended stomach. In fact abdominal distension is always a symptoms of a condition not a genetical anatomical feature.

I find this happens after I eat carbs, and not having enough fibre in the diet. Try eating more fibrous vegetables and use psyllium husks in your breakfast or oats and drink plenty of water.
