The title of his post says " 225 barbell row", that is not a barbell row, the guy should lose the ego. I mean really when you have every one telling you that you are wrong, but yet you still believe you are right. Is it possible that everyone telling you are doing wrong dont know what they are talking about? I dont think so.

Lol you basically had 0 ROM, bend over more. Its ok to use momentum to get the weight up though, but im sure a lot of people will disagree with me.

you guys don't know exactly what a row works and why it is very acceptable to be 45 degrees.
Would you think it is comfortable and good to be bent over parallel to the floor rowing 250lbs?? Um no.
The purpose of a row is to stimulate your lats not your lower back. If you really want to do a true bent over row you should just do romanian deadlifts and save yourself some time.
If you want to do a true bent over row just do DB rows. But it is very acceptable to be at 45 degrees rowing. Your lats will still be stimulated and you will get sufficient growth. If you stick parallel to the ground your weight is never going to progress like it should. Sometimes what is considered a "good" bent over row is not exactly how it should be performed especially at that weight.
On a side note you look like a retarded doing them though! You need to explode on the pull up and then you can let it down slow. Watch any true bodybuilder that knows what they're doing and tell me if they are parallel with the floor. I'll save you some time because you won't find one.
Don't watch videos of skinny ass pussys on youtube that think they know how to perform the perfect BB row because they don't. And if you do them like that your going to have a bad back problems in the future from having that amount of stress on your spine with your back at that angle (parallel with the floor).
Great form man just make sure you explode on the way up and let it down slow.Go Big or Go Home!

hack squats put more stress on your knee dont make excuses for no squatting and as for ur rows that is some good wieght for 15. I think ppl are forgetting that at that age most kids can barely deadlift that so gj. Just tighten up your form drop bout ten pounds of wieght and bend over a bit more and you will be good to go on your yates row.

Real Yates Rows:
Bend over to a 45 degree angle. Yates Rows should not be done with 5 reps. Lower the weight and up the reps to gain mass. You need to EXPLODE on the pull up, do a quick static hold while it is fully up and flex your lats, then drop the weight down SLOWLY. Dorian Yates teaches his Row this way, so if you keep doing what you did in the video it is not a Yates Row, just like adding Bicep Curls to Rippetoes Starting Strength is not Rippetoes Starting Strength anymore. If you do real Yates Rows this way I promise you that your lats will explode. Yates Rows are meant to target the lats and especially the pesky lower lats instead of the upper back. Yates Rows are for back width not back thickness. And you can trust me because Desmond Miller is at my gym and he places 7th in the Arnold Classic 2008. That has nothing to do with this thread but Desmond Miller, who places 7th in the Arnold Classic 2008, is at my gym almost every day selling Met RX supplements and working out.
Loose your ego and do Yates Rows this way. Drop the weight. Serious advice.--**Strong ass Jew crew**--
