Hi everyone!
I'm Allie. I just found this contest a few days ago, and could not have found it at a better time. I just turned 30, and I'm starting to feel old, haha. I decided that I want to look better and feel better now than I did at 20, and so I started taking nutrition and exercise seriously.
It has always seemed to be on and off for me, but with summer coming up, of course I want to get into the best shape possible for the beach. Everyone at work shares similar sentiments, and so we are all helping each other out and have some weight loss goals for Memorial Day weekend.
But I can't stop there, haha. I'm not happy with "lose some weight", "get in shape", "tone up", or any of that other nonsense. I want to be that slammin', strong looking chick with the chiseled six pack that I was in high school. So I was browsing the boards one night and found this contest! I couldn't be happier to join in on the fun.
I ordered my products last night - I will be doing the Women's KetoCuts challenge, and will be taking the CreaDyl as well as the NOBeta. I figure, might as well go all out, right?
I will take my before pics once I receive my products. I don't want to "officially" start until my stuff gets here, so I can reap the most benefits out of them. But I figured I'd start up the log now just to get familiar with everyone and say hi!

Welcome! Glad to see you already have your log up and running. I am sure you will do absolutely great in the challenge and with your starting level of motivation and the help you will receive here the sky is the limit.
Allie's contest will run for a full 16 weeks from the time she post her starting pictures. 6 weeks longer than the 2009 contest. Imagine what you can do with all that extra time.
Good Luck and welcome again!UnCut ~ My Pre-workout of choice!!

Sure thing.
I have this idea around this time every year, and I'm hoping by entering the contest and keeping the log will keep me honest and on top of it, haha.
MY DIET:
For the first half I am going to try to lose 1.5lbs/wk. Once I shed some of the fat I will decrease that to a 1lb loss/wk, because as it is, at my weight my calories have to be ~1194 a day to lose 1.5lbs. So once I start losing, I'll need to slow the loss down so I don't go into starvation mode. Plus I've already started eating like this and tracking my foods, and I'm ALREADY starving... so yeah.
As far as macros go, I try to keep it 40carb/30protein/30fat. I am usually able to hit around that mark with my macros.
EXERCISE:
Weights: I'm going to try to start going to the weight room in the morning, because I've been working 12 hour days lately and by the time I get out of work the gym is closed. It has only worked one day so far. But again, I'm hoping that the start of the contest will motivate me to wake up. I much prefer sleeping later and going at night, but that's life. Alternately, maybe things will calm down at work. Who knows.
I'm doing fullbody workouts comprised of the compound lifts, M W F. Sometimes if I can't get to the gym on a Monday I do a 2 day split upper/lower. I like both, but I'm probably going to try and stick to the 3x/wk.
Cardio: The plan is to commute to work and back by bike 5x/wk. It's 10 miles each way. It's a nice ride, but again, sometimes I don't wake up in time to do it and be at work on time. Again, this contest is a way of whipping myself into shape and forcing myself out of bed in the morning to make this happen. I bought a nice commuter bike last fall and I love riding it, so there's that. Plus on those days I can eat around 1000 more calories, which is fantastic.
I'm hoping that the 5x/wk cardio sessions won't burn me out. If they are, I'll probably cut down to doing weights M W F and riding Tu Th and work up to the higher amount of cardio.
SUPPS: I haven't totally planned out what I'm going to do yet, since I haven't read the instructions. But I'm probably figuring something like NOBeta in the morning before I ride/work out, and CreaDyl during my workout. Not sure how the KetoCuts is going to fit in, but assuming it has caffeine in it the morning will probably be the best for that also. We'll see when it arrives!
That pretty much sums it up. If anyone has any suggestions or critiques of my plan, please chime in! I'm looking for you seasoned people that have already done this to steer me in the right direction if I can be doing anything better!

Spoke to some of you fine people Double-T people yesterday about the KetoCuts. Should be on it's way shortly! Can't wait for it to get here so I can get started! Will need to wait until after NEXT weekend to start officially since I'll be travelling a lot of this week and next weekend, and I want to make sure I can give it my all for the start of the contest.
For now I'm just looking around on other people's transformation logs and getting REALLY EXCITED. I can't BELIEVE some of the transformations that have taken place in just 10 short weeks for the 2009 people. Everyone on here LOVES the supps, and they're obviously doing their jobs, because a LOT of people have made some astonishing things happen to their bodies. I'm glad I found this contest because that's going to be ME soon!

If you're feeling tired during the way because of your diet, you should try to alter your meal times so you can get carbs in because anything extraneous. I could also alter the macros to something like 40carb/40protein/20fat if that is feasible for you. The rest of your posts seem fine though, its good that you've done your research and have the motivation to transform your body, best of luck.

Travel can really add a challenge to your whole routine. My job requires that I travel frequently so I have tried to create the best case scenario for those days/weeks. I have a mini portable george foreman that I carry and prepare all my meals in the hotel and do not eat out. This ensures my nutritional plan is solid. I also get a day membership at a local gym first thing before checking into a hotel, hotel gyms normally are in-adequate for my routine. With some planning and forethought travel can be accommodated.
Your probably good to wait to begin if you do not travel frequently.
Awaiting your official start eagerly!UnCut ~ My Pre-workout of choice!!

I do travel kind of often, and I actually kind of enjoy having to adapt to another area's exercise equipment. If I travel somewhere warm it's a good excuse to get outside and jog and check out the local sights. Also, I always try to book a hotel with a pool, because I love swimming for cardio and since I live in the city there's nowhere with a pool to make it an everyday occurrence. I'm definitely nowhere near as strong as you, so usually a hotel gym is sufficient for me, haha. As long as they have some dumbbells and a bench I can usually put some kind of temporary plan together.
But this trip is a "special case" in that it is a once a year event that everyone in my industry goes to/networks at. The town where it's held only has one not so good for you restaurant and there is a lot of beer to be drank, haha. I don't drink a lot, so I'm not going to be a party pooper at the one event a year everyone is networking at. So I think it's best if I hold off, so I don't kill my first week's progress with all the beer.
I've already gotten the NO Beta and CreaDyl in the mail so I'm just waiting for this one more thing and then I'm ready to kick ass! Hopefully when I come back the KetoCuts will be here to get rid of this week's shameful eating and drinking, hehe. I'm sure it will do it's job quickly judging from some of the 2009 entrants' transformation photos, so I'm not worried.

Hey, to all you Double-T reps, maybe you can answer a question for me. I was reading the bottles of supps today to start planning out dosages. On the NO Beta it says to cycle for 12 weeks, and then off for 4. Since the contest is 16 weeks, that means the last 4 weeks will be off the NO Beta. Is this ok? I know in the rules it says we are supposed to take the supps for the duration of the contest. I will still be taking the CreaDyl for all 16 weeks since it doesn't say anything about a cycle on the label. Also, I don't know what the cycle is for KetoCuts yet.

For the NO Beta, its so you don't build up a tolerance and no longer feel stimulated from it, so you can base that off your personal experience. If its still working well past that 12 week date, no need to cycle off yet. Creadyl doesn't need to be cycled. As for the ketocuts, I wouldn't go past 2 months, so two bottles because of the 7-keto.

You're going to love the Ketocuts. I wish I lived close enough to work to ride my bike. I'm jealous.

I strongly agree with highdie here, for me I have not built up any tolerance to the product at this point and am still using the 6 tablet dose pre-workout and feeling the Beta-Alanine just like I did on day 1. Experiment with the dose and then go with what feels good for you. If after 12 weeks you don't feel any effects from it then cycle it, but otherwise stay with it.
I just ordered my first bottle of KetoCuts and expect it here by Wednesday, I am really excited to try this one out. I plan to do 8 weeks then cycle off for 4 weeks.UnCut ~ My Pre-workout of choice!!
