thats a bit too much weight... and depending on your weight not much of that would be fat, mostly water..
but yeah it is a great machine, throw the stairclimber in there too. i hate how running is considered so popular for cardio when there is so much other better stuff to do.My journal http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=5662511

do you get bored?
i get bored running for too long - so i do intervals. i do stairs/bike/elliptical/rower...i do three of those, 10 minute intervals. then before i know it 30 mins is up & i'm working on doing 45. also stairs are good, as in, running up actual stairs...this is great outside. i run up two steps each, then run down, sometimes i make variations by sideways, etc.
seriously though, if you get bored, intervals really helps a lot.And through it all...the biggest obstacle I have to face... is myself.
