Dude cottage cheese is sooooo strong. I mean, it is the only food that I know of that acts both as regular food and dessert. For instance, instead of 1 can of tuna I eat 1/2 cup of cottage cheese (4% milkfat) topped with black peppers, oregano leaves, garlic powder, hot sauce and unsalted crackers. It simply tastes awesome. I feel as though I am cheating when I eat it. For dessert before bed I eat 1/2 cup of same cottage cheese with 1/4 cup of 100% natural applesauce and 1/2 serving whey protein. It kind of tastes like strawberry yogurt since my whey is strawberry flavor. So bye bye tuna, honestly tuna is the most disgusting sh#t I've ever tasted in my life. So if you're tired of tuna try it out and I'll bet you love it, or like it better than tuna in that regard. Peace.

1 can tuna= 33g Protein
1/2 cup cottage cheese= 14g Protein
Tuna is a cheaper and higher concentrated protein. I guess everybody has their own taste because I can barely stomach cottage cheese. The only way I eat it is with applesauce. Word to the wise, avoid cottage cheese premixed with pineapple- nasty sh*t.

Yeah dude I know about the difference in protein quality. But I would rather eat cottage cheese than tuna. Tuna is just wayyyy to disgusting. When the smell of it makes you gag thats when you know this **** is not food. I had to make up the difference in protein by eating more protein in my other meals. I dont know, cottage cheese and pineapple sounds delicious dude.

Okay, I love tuna, and I also like cottage cheese, but unfortunately I am afraid of cottage cheese, and all dairy for that matter, I feel like it puts a layer on me, but this could be from the negtive stigma it has been labeled with (mental)what are ytour guys' thoughts on the "dairy layer" theory?

The dairy layer theory is that dairy products put a layer of fat on the skin and while yes whey is derived from dairy, it is a seperated form with most of the fat cut out, so there is a difference there, just wondering if anyone has noticed any kind of layer added on when eating dairy products."Bad habits are like a comfortable bed, easy to get into, but hard to get out of." - Anonimus -

There's fat free cottage. It has minimal carbs (-5) and 20+grsof protein, add a scoop of Low Carb Grow! (or any other blend) and you're done.

It's a whey Isolate, calcium caseinate and milk protein isolate blend, sweetened with sucralose (splenda). I've heard is very good (I've never tried it), it's more expensive than other blend ($5+). I personally like I****trix, but I'll try P customizer, and if I like it, I'll stick with it. What Berardi did is Surge which is a post-w drink.

I stated earlier one of the best treats I have ever had is cottage cheese with a scoop of protein powder preferably LC GROW, mixed with cashew butter, and heck make it even sweeter with the addition of splenda, placed in the freezer for a while is awesome.
Bacho, hey my man you seem to be into achieving and keeping a lean physique have you noticed any type of fat layer put on due to the use of cottage cheese? I am currently at about 5%BF and really like the look, however I am going to be readjusting my diet here in a little and was thinking of adding some cottage cheese to the mix, what do you think?AOK

There shouldn't be any problem, it's not like you'll be at 10% a few weeks after eating cottage cheese. I don't know man, I haven't eat any cottage in years and I'm 17 (they don't make it here in Vzla) but like I've said before, as soon as I move to the US this July my before bed meal will be: fat free cottage, any protein blend, flax oil and cashew or almod butter.
Tell me, how long have you been at 5% are you having troubles to stay like that without any significant or drastic changes to your diet and/or exercise program."Bad habits are like a comfortable bed, easy to get into, but hard to get out of." - Anonimus -

I have been around 5% for a while now, and let me tell you it is easy to maintain sometimes and tough at others. I have my cheat days occasionaly, some time planned and some times not, but as far as my diet goes, I get the leanest when I stick to it for a long perios of time without a cheat meal, or without overdoing the cashew butter, which I had been doing as of late, but not any more summer is here, and I have a photo shoot coming up, time to get freaky
