diabetic competative bbers...

Just wondering if theres anf competative bbers out there with diabetes. I myself have had diabetes for 28 years almost and just started competing. I figured we could possibly chat a bit about competing and having diabetes seeing as how our diets and preperation are different than the normal person getting ready for a show. get back to me.

i was just searching the board, and saw this.
i don't compete, but wanted to in my early 20s. I found out i had type 1 in feb.
I lost 50lbs in about 7 months, and was just thinking, and telling everyone i was cutting...... but the weight just keep coming off.
I was eating everything, and anything, but still lost weight.

i ate pretty clean before, so I haven't had to change too much with my diet. needless to say I've gain the weight back, and i'm back to a respectable 207lbs.

if you've had this for 20 years, I'd be interested in what you had to say.... you know most doctor are like this is what the USRDA says
