    Exclamation Important** Should I refuel with a protein shake after my workout? Answer. NO

    Hello, I have heard that after an intense workout I need refuel my body with a carb shake that has a little protein because consuming too much protein displaces carbs so I will try
    2-3 tbs. of honey(51 grams of carbs) inmediately after workout and 40 min. later a protein shake (35g of protein).

    What do you think about this???

    I read Qdoba in your name when i skimmed over the thread....oh how I miss Qdoba.

    On another note, no. Obviously don't neglect carbs, but I take 40-60g of carbs and 40-50g protein in my post workout shake. 16oz milk, malto & dex, protein.
