    need help with cravings

Anyone has tips to help need help me stay in diet.
I know my caloric intake. And can eat clean for 3-5 days then it becomes unbearable. And end up going to a buffet lol. What are some good tips to do when my stomach is growling. To control the cravings. Thanks

I would try adding refeeds. What's your calorie intake right now? If it becomes unbearable then I'de assume your cals are too low, it shouldn't be like that. The biggest thing I can add in Is don't get to the point where your stomach growls. If you feel yourself STARTING to get hungry, eat something. If you wait until your starving then your body will naturally just want to eat anything in sight to assure it's survival. EAT to LIVE don't LIVE to EAT.

side note: there are chocolate sugar free jello's for 60 calories that are bomb AF. If i'm craving something sweet i throw two of those in a bowl with a huge scoop of cool whip for 200 cals

I'm in 1000 calorie deficit and when drop 30 lb I will recomp. Then lose 20 more. Yea my calories are abit too low. Maybe I'll up it to a 500 deficit then drop it down over time. Still can't stand the growling.

You will get cravings on a 1000 cal deficit, no way around it. Just make sure you are getting plenty of good fats and can help a bit with the cravings. If you can limit it to one day a week, do a mild refeed/cheat and be strict the rest of the week. Or you can just average it out and make the deficit more manageable.

Coffee can help with hunger as will other stimulants. But I look and adjusting your deficit a bit first.

If you are having cravings that means your over all calories are too low or you aren't getting enough macronutrients.
On a cut, even if it's drastic and you are cutting 2lbs per week, it shouldn't leave you with cravings like that. Something is missing from your diet and that's what your body is trying to tell you.
So spend some time figuring out what it is. If your energy isn't suffering, your calories may be high enough, but if you are going off on binges, maybe your fat intake is too low.
I always had a problem before cutting my fat too much and I had the same issues. I was great for a couple days then needed a high fat binge meal. I found out my fat intake was super low. I think it's because fat is a high calorie food but not high volume. You go for low cal, high volume foods while dieting to keep you full.
I like personal responsibility and accountability. When you admit you are the problem you are simultaneously admitting you are the solution.

Stop eating clean. Eat foods you like but count calories and macros. Make sure you are getting enough fat, especially. But most especially make sure you are getting enough protein.

    dont eat only bro foods.

fit in some junk into your macros and you won't even feel like you're dieting.
also you can try IF, so you can have really big meals.

I went through this as well and craved junk food. I agree that sugar free things can be your friend here. I make up a lot of jello and use cool whip because they satisfy my sweet tooth and help keep me on track. I also love having cool whip with strawberries as it feels like I am eating something I should not be.

There are some good and bad suggestions in here but I just want to add, hunger is a part of being in a cut. You can do some things to reduce it a bit but mostly, you're just gonna have to suck it up and deal with it.

    Hunger =/= Cravings.

They are not the same, people need to start realizing that.

But is it really though? Hunger is so subjective, and we as a first world nation don't really ever NEED to eat. Even at 10-12% bodyfat, I have enough fuel reserves for 2 weeks. Yet I feel hungry quite often. Sometimes it's for broccoli, sometimes it's for ice cream. What gives?
Not trying to argue, just giving you my side. Food for thought.

Thanks guys after doing more research I'm now eating 2 cups of mixed veggies in my diet which is about 55 calories. And I felt nice and full.and when I got cravings I ate some blueberries and the sweetness left me satisfied and helped with growling. I Just hope I don't. Throw it all away after a few days and ruin my diet.
