I don't think anyone is mad that it wasn't a slugfest, or everyone would be ****ting allover Penn-Edgar fight also, which was a very technical stand up battle relying on points from strikes. What they are mad about is Anderson clowning for 2.5 rounds then running around in a circle so much that he got a warning from the ref. He showed in the first 2 rounds he could have ended that fight at any point, for whatever reason he didn't. You can spin it any way you want to, but I felt I wasted my money for that fight and if you were not drinking the Anderson kool-aid you might think so yourself.

BTW Anderson very well could knock out GSP pretty quick, but at 170 the fight is more competitive then you make it out to be. GSP would be the first great shoot wrestler Silva would have faced, Silva would have to cut pretty hard maybe sapping his power, and GSP has shown outstanding top control even faced with BJJ blackbelts.

I love Anderson Silva and I am not a fan of sloppy slug fest with guys who box like nate quarry or chris leben its ugly to me, but that guy was horsing around. It's one thing to be boring like GSP or Floyd Mayweather Jr. but one thing about those guys is they don't horse around, they have game plans and they stick to it and execute it.
