Most effective supplement for lean mass gains

Looking to try out a new supplement to help gain lean mass and just wanted some opinions on what has been the most effective for you. I've tried various types of creatine, preworkouts, a test booster (which I had little to no success with), and obviously protein/weight gainer products and want to try something else. I'm not really in the market for prohormones/steroids but know there's gotta be some other effective supplements out there I've overlooked and want to give them a try. What's your opinion?

Weight is around 160 last time I checked and height is about 5'10" 5'11". Although I try and keep it in check, my diet generally sucks ass about 30% of the week.

fix your diet. You will notice a big difference. This mixed with proper training is the most important part of weight lifting. Followed by proper rest of course.

You need to be on a calorie surplus, your probly the opposite at the moment.

If you don't know how many calories you're eating then no amount of supps will help you most likely. Knowing what you eat is the first step, can build from there.

If your diet is good, and 30% of the week it is not, that really is not all to bad. My diet I would say is similar to that until I go into contest prep (Our perspective of slacking 30% though may be very different). You may need to be a little more "Perfect" though if you are trying to make strictly lean gains. With that said, any nutrient partitioner like anabolic pump will do wonders, but first sort out your diet.
