I started working out 7 months ago at 150 pounds, this pic is a few months old, so I got a little bigger. Right now I'm at 170 (maybe 164 in that pic). In the first few months of fitness I had sharp wrist pains for some reason and it interfered with my lifts expecially those involved in pulling. So for 1-2 months I had a lot of difficulty with curls, and was unable to lift more than 25 pounds on concentration. But eventually all these small ticks in my body faded away and I am thankfully lifting pain-free with strict form.
Do you think this month or two of weak curls is the reason why my arms are small compared to the rest of my body? Or maybe it's because I'm 6 feet tall so I have long arms which take longer to fill?
Please don't critique me about weight, I don't want to get too big. I just want my arms to catch up and I need some time to gain those few more pounds.

ive been lifting for 5 years and my arms are small compared to the rest of my body. its just genetics. you are gonna have to work twice as hard on certain muscles to have them caught up with the rest of your body. thats just how it is. but to answer your question, no two months didnt make a difference.

My comment wasn't meant to be rude.
I just felt like his lats seemed underdeveloped, so I was asking in a slightly more sarcastic tone than I should've used.
I think rows and pullups would help you put on width and arm size as much as anything else.
Eating more might help you, too. Either way, you're very lean.Training, philosophy, nutrition and biomedical discussion (2.0): http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=146797403

Arms generally grow in proportion to the rest of your body no matter how hard you train them. Try hitting them 3 days a week and see what happens. That got mine growing years ago when they wouldn't budge. Make sure triceps are being worked properly as these make up the majority of arm size
If you don't get what you want you didn't want it bad enough

Thanks everyone but i do think it was because of the 1-2 months because once my wrist got better and I've moved up to 30-35 in curls I have noticed that my arms have gotten bigger. The thing that bothered me the most was when I look at myself from the side the width of my body seemed good but the width of my arms was almost half the width of my body (width from back to chest, as you'd see from side angle) and it didnt look proportional. I felt like my arm width had to be as big as my body width. My arms have grown from about half the width of my body to about 3/4 of my width.

just keep working them man, they'll catch up. if you are tall, it can take a little while longer to fill those bad boys out, but you'll get there. can't tell you how much dips and close-grip bench have helped my arms. work those triceps!

Good point.

There probably isnt anything wrong with the size of your arms at that weight.~~~~~~~~~~
