    Why do my lats hurt the day after I do only pushups?

    Once a week i workout from home, I do different variations of pushups,
    12-20 per set..., 5-6 sets
    and P90x ab routine.

    The next day my LATS are pretty sore (in addition to my chest)
    Is this normal?

    What is sore is most likely your serratus anterior. Those are worked during push ups and can be confused with lats.
