Sets - warm up? when to add weight?

havent seen it posted before just curious

am i doing my sets right for bulking?

    someone told me to.

    1st set
    warm up 50% of load

    2nd set
weight that you can reach 10 reps (not to failure)

3rd set Add weight so you fail at 10

    4th set to failure

if 4th set you cant get over 5 reps lower weight

if reach over 10 add weight

    this seem decent?

I usually wont warm up on a normal days workout.. If im maxing out then yes. I should probably do some more warmup when lifting heavy but im doing a circuit (lighter weight) so i dont really see that its necessary. I would only recommend going to failure on your last set.. for bulking just lift reps 8-10 and doing 1 warmup set of 40-50% wouldnt hurt.
Don't pray for lighter burdens but for stronger bodies.
