So one of my friends that I lift with, is a serious ecto. I told him that I am going to order more protein tonight, and I offered to order some for him so we could save on shipping etc. Mainly he has never bought anything online, so I just offered to help him out.
I told him he should try to get 10lbs of protein so that it would last him a few months (he has only been through 1 2lb tub of protein in a year of lifting.. I told him he would get better gains if he actually got 1g P/lb LBM per day).
So anyways, the requirements:
- $60 spending limit (could go a few $ over probably)
- Preferably 10lbs
- Taste is not an issue, so something with a good profile is all that matters.
- Will be used 2-3 times per day (once upon waking, once at work, once post-workout... etc) so a mixed protein would probably suit him best (as opposed to say straight WPI).
I have been through a ton of protein, but taste is a huge thing for me, because I enjoy my shakes.. So I am not used to looking for value protein. If I buy 10lbs I buy XF protein most of the time for a little more money.
Thank you in advance.
