I have been training the same way for some time, I do 4 sets of 5 on bench, I will start lighter then add 5 pounds each time until my last set, but some people have told me to start heavy then gradually work my way down, then I have had people tell me to keep the same weight for all sets?
I cant really find any info on this, just wondering what works best for you..

I like Ramping up. I notice on my first set I am really week. I feel like I can barely do the warmup. then my secondd set I feel stronger and warmed up. That being said I do like doing a high rep burn out on my last set. So my chest workout looks something like this. x12(warmup) x8(more then a warmup but not a full workset) x6-8 x3-5 x11-5
