Not happy with the roll outs completely, but definitely dropping deadbugs. Will do that Dean Somerset-drill and woodchops I think next time. Dreading planking, vbut it has to happen at some point.

Deadlifts, again. Dips substituted for tricep push downs (megasore chest), lat pull down felt deceptively easy, swings were easy-ish, and ab work was a combination of things (push down Dean Somerset Style, hardrolls, halo's.

Same lifts, but they felt MUCH easier. Starting to get my workout routine together as well.

Honey Mask! Whootwhoot!
It's Rwanda Honey, quite different in flavour from the Hungarian honey I got from a neighbour (delicious!!!) and way stronger than the stuff I buy at t he supermarket. I should find a local beekeeper.

Workout 6, day 8/40
I weighed in well over 80kgs (almost 82, but usually don't weigh with my allstars -0.8kgs, and sweater). Must be water weight. Period starts soon and I'm crazy thirsty! But it's a lot heavier than I felt.
Anyway.
Skipped my warm up for no reason but wanting to finish early
Deads: 60kgs 2x10
Dips 2x5 range is getting bigger!!
LPD 47.5kgs 2x8
Swings 2x20 16kg KB, was in doubt about upping the weight to 20kgs
Ab Work: mostly awareness stuff, glute bridges, and deadbugs. Harder than I expected. Meh.

Workout 7, day 10/40
Whewt. Skipped yesterday´s workout, as I´m supposed to do max. 5 per week, and was supersore.
Howsomdever, I did pretty well today:
Proper warm ups, but need to devote more time on bowler squats
Upped deads: 80kgs 2x5 (left leg is stiffer on internal rotation, and glute seems harder to activate. It's the leg I tend to lean into, so i guess it's not that weird. )
Dips 2x5, getting easy!
LPD 47kgs, 2x8
Swings upped to 20kgs, figured I'd just try and see if I could get to 20 twice, and I could didn't even have to catch my breath as much as I expected.
Ab work: glute bridges focussing on proper activation, and planks. Hate 'm.
And upped the dose on my asthma meds, since I got sloppy about that.

Workout 8, day 11/40:
WArming up was okay, bowler squats suck, but trying to stick with it as I NEEDZ them.
Deads: 80kgs 2x5 (need to pay more attention to core control before getting in the hole)
Dips: 2x5
LPD: 47kgs 2x8
Swings 20kgs 20/20
And.... Kneeling holds for ab work with 2x16kg KB's. I was shaking like a leaf! Totally underestimated this.

Warm ups were okay-ish, added Poliquin's waiting room. But forgot bowler squats. Meh.
Deads: 80kgs 2x5 (will bring them down to 2x10@60kgs
Dips 2x5
LPD 47kgs 2x10 (!) yay!
Swings 2x20 20kgs
Kneeling holds: 16kgs KBs (double), 2x 30 counts.
Judging by my heartrate I should either up the intensity or cut back on resting times. I think I'll be doing 2x10s for deads and dips next time.

80kg deads felt heavy-ish, 2x5, largely because of the lack of buildup
Dips were super easy. Lpd with narrow neutral grip were meh, 2x8.
And kb snatches! did twice ten per hand, and thats the intensity im looking for! hard to stay explosive enough hip-wise. Might have to do with 12kgs being too light.

My workout today was quick and because I felt lazy I upped the weight so I could save on reps.
Deads: 80kgs, 2x5
Dips 2x6
LPD 57kgs 2x5
Snatches (form still kinda meh, but heavier weight makes it better) 16kgs 2x5 per arm
Push Backs + upperback rotation
I'm not being fair by saying form's kinda meh. I'm not as strong and explosive as I wa s, but upping the weight forces me to really drive from the hips like I should. Also found interesting stuff for warm ups, and started ACLguy on Advanced German Volume.
Got rejected from a coaching project (volunteer-intake) as they thought I might be too directive in my coaching and they wondered about my intrinsic motivation. We spent the day at a rugby tournament yesterday, and I was soooooo dehydrated.

Lat Pull Down 2x10 40kgs
KB Snatches, 12 kg 10 per arm, 16kg 5 per arm
Ab Work: can't even remember!
Did a little research into the agility test I use (T-test) and the test the national team uses (Illinois). Pretty awesome. Illinois is basically a speedtest, whereas T-test is reliable for power and agility as well.Last edited by Euqinom; 05-19-2014 at 12:22 PM.

Skipped working out today:
Lowerback was sore and stiff, and I generally felt a bit woolly. Did take two of my boys to the gym. One's a forward with lust to lift, the other a wing that 's hopefully the toughest, roughest, badassest, analytically giftest-est wing when he starts in the competition. He's doing Advanced German Volume Training right now, and he's killing it. He's not cutting corners, and very much in tune with what he can handle and how he should move.

Found a computer:
So, on Monday i did my double fivelet with 100kgs (thought I'd try a triple, felt good, made it 5x, and figured I didn't want to unload the bar after 1 set, and did another. Needed tuesday off to get rid of the soreness )
Can't wait to try pull ups, as I said, as the LPD doesn't seem to be very motivating and I can't progress as much as I'd like. Dips easy. Swings: 32kgs, 2x15, struggling to get enough hip drive on my KB snatches, and I hate core work after all that work, which I think means that I'm putting in enough work.
Today I did 80kgs 2x8, lpd's, Landmine overhead presses (left side WAY weaker!!), 12kg snatches (2x10 per side) because the 16's were taken, and planking: once on hands with shoulder touches, once a t-plank.
Also have a few more rugby boys to work with, but Poliquin once said a 19yr old boy is the worst client ever, and it's true. They know everything, and are afraid to ask.First time order at iHerb.com? PFfff.. I'm the lamest person I know right now. I need to get back in the gym because I feel more active for days when I do workout. A few new things:
* I'm doing the 30/30 squat challenge with my boys. HARD!
* I haven't been in a gym since April. I haven't lifted serious weights for a year.
* I'm back in school
* GLuteal strength + Hip STability is terrible, upperback is too stiff, I now even sometimes get headaches!
Will give myself three weeks of easing back in, and then get back on Easy Strength, or One Lift a DAy, probably
Today's workout consisted of foam rolling, mobilizations (hip flexors! Flossing!), stabilization, soft rolls, a long ab drill, bowler squats, tuminello lunges, Pull Ups (3/3/) and went home. 35 minutes, I have no conditioning left.First time order at iHerb.com?
