First off, I would like to say, for me, this has been a lifestyle change, not just a ‘transformation contest.’ I plan on maintaining what I have earned, and adding more muscle! I love the ‘new me’ every time I look in the mirror. I CANNOT believe what I have accomplished in 10 short weeks!
As a mother of four, ages ranging 1 year to 11 years, and at the ripe old age of 33 (can’t believe I told you that), I thought I could never have a body like the fitness models in the magazines. After all, I had just suffered a major emergency abdominal surgery with the birth of my last baby, and just about lost my life. I ended up having a partial hysterectomy, and 10 units of blood. To my doctor’s surprise, I made it! I thought I could never get nice abs, beings they ripped right through my lower abs. But that’s a whole other story. Onto the good stuff!
I saw the Double-T ad on BodySpace, and contemplated it for awhile, a couple months in fact! After all, I was sure it was geared towards men wanted to grow into massive, huge bodybuilders. I was very skeptical, as I always thought a creatine substance would do nothing but cause me to bloat and gain an immediate 15 lbs! I decided what the heck!! After all, the rules DID say it was open to woman too. I decided to go balls out, and give this 110%.
I came into this, and throughout the whole contest, never had a trainer, nutritionists, no prior contests, competitions, no clue what the heck I was doing!! But figured if I set my mind to it, I can do anything!! I mean, I’ve tried lifting before, but was afraid of becoming to bulky (huge myth). It usually lasted 2 weeks, at the longest, and then back to pizza and junk food. I decided this was my chance to change my body, and my life.
With my goals in mind, I researched some information on Bodybuilding.com, and made a diet first. Then, I put together a lifting routine I thought I could benefit from. Added some Creadyl, and No-Beta, along with a protein supplement, and away I went!
I started my workouts with ½-1 scoop of Creadyl, and 4-5 NO-Beta’s. Talk about an EXTREME pump & much needed boost of energy. They really helped me focus on the weights, and my goal. I have had a number of people contact me via BodySpace, to ask just how I did my transformation, and what the heck was this ‘Double-T’ stuff I was taking. It has given me a great opportunity to share with other people what has helped me to reach my goals (my Double-T stack). I also noticed I was becoming stronger at a very fast pace! I felt like a whole different person. And, to my surprise, NO BLOAT, OR WEIGHT GAIN. In fact, I lost a total of 22 lbs, 11 % bodyfat, and 13.5 inches (4” off my hips, 5.5” of my waist, 3.25” off each thigh, and .75” from my calves).
I want to throw a HUGE thanks out to Double-T for providing this opportunity. I am now addicted to this sport of weight lifting. This is just the beginning of my journey. I can’t wait to cycle back onto the stack, and show the world what this mama’s got!!!
