idk much about Englewood, but i know many chicago area have become significantly safer and better because of revitalization


Maybe revitalization/gentrification is in the early stages in Englewood, or it isn't as aggressive in the area. Or perhaps all the trash from the rest of Chicago moved to Englewood when the revitalization started. idk but i guarantee u in the next 5 years Englewood (if being revitalized) will be totally different in the next 5-10 years

So when you shape up an area you're inadvertently setting up some other place to become worse because people that live in the ghetto will certainly not be able to afford the new rents or magically find jobs.
