Anti-aging, mitochondrial health, antioxidant, heart health? But I am sure you know the benefits of it Maybe someone young and healthy doesn't need it as much, but I agree age and other factors will come into effect.

co q10 has to be converted to an active antioxidant in the body.Ubiquinol is the active antioxidant,so it is much better.However someone younger can get away with supplementing with co q10.

even at my young age I still pay the money for ubiquinol for many reasons.

Ubiquinol is better than any old Co-Q10, but I have a hard time reasoning it would have made a significant difference. In any case, the problem with thinking that study provides support for greater fat burning (albeit insignificant if that were the case) is that HR was used to establish the intensity. HR is notorious for being inconsistant / imperfect for fine tuning uniform intensity and energy expenditure especially at the substrate level. In other words, at 100 bpm one person could be working harder or not than the next person. With the small sample size all it takes with the luck of the draw that a few are working harder at a lower HR and a few have a higher HR but not working as hard and the gap shows up. Unfortuately they provided none of the detailed RE information. I wonder if people from Nitto Pharmaceutical Industries, who supplied the supplements, were there helping out

Ubiquinol is prolly the overall better choice. I will research it again later on today.

Ubiquinol is one of the few supplements I use everyday year round (Aloe vera gel/ juice, Acai juice and EGCG are 3 others). Its involved in so many healthy mechanisms that its hard for me to find a good reason to not take it or spend the money.

I switch from ubiquinone to ubiquinol and never notice any difference. Just make sure you get Kaneka for CoQ10, they are like the Creapure for creatine.

Thats what ive been taking ( ubiquinol from kaneka). However idebenone can be found in bulk which obviously is cheaper. Cant find to many comparisons.

I will most likely stick with ubiquinol.

also- i doubt you would "feel" any noticeable difference from taking one or the other. Hell, i don't feel a difference taking ubiquinol what so eva

Im surprised there isnt much discussion of Ubiquinol on these boards, its benefits are nothing short of impressive to say the least.

I would rather use ubiquinol as well (active form), but i agree, i doubt you would feel any difference.
