1 mill from poker is nothing compared to $340 millon by 26...
And no you obviously don't need a degree to be rich, but just because you dropped out does not mean you are going to be one of those who make it big time. I only know one drop out who is doing well, and by well I mean living slightly above middle class.

Reminds me of myself, but he didnt **** up.
I actually worked with him, dead srs.
I owned an online advertising agency which grossed well over a million a year for 2+ years. If I actually kept with it, I couldve sold it for $40 mil too, but I got lazy and ****ed it all up.
Kudos to him!RIP mainsqueeze530

Alot of the richest men in the world dropped out of college.
Sure you can get a degree as a doctor and become a millionaire. but there are very few proffesions in which you can do this.
You dont need a degree to make your own business and prouce something that people want, this takes stupidity, bravery, enormous willpower and generally alot of luck, you cant teach any of these things.
Disagree with me all you like, warren buffet got rich from well thought out and fairly lucky investments, how did he know coca cola would be as big as it is now back when he first invested?
It takes a special person to become a millionaire, degrees / higher education is not always needed.

-Most people believe that they cannot achieve anything above medicority
-most people play it safe their whole life (this guy left high school at 16 to take a huge risk in his online business)
-most people just follow the crowd and do what has been done for centuries (go to university and get a job)
-people aim for really low and then blame other things for their misfortunes (what is the difference in a dream of owning a million dollar house vs a dream of owning a 30,000 dollar house??). IF u have to dream, why dream medicore/small things? if u have to think, why think medicore/small?
-people use blame luck, their circumstances, society, other people etc etc etc. Are u man enough to stand and say "**** that! it is all my fault, im going to do something about it"?

I don't get this line of thinking. People have been brainwashed that you can't ever be rich working for someone else. I guess it depends on what you consider "rich". IMO a well paying job is absolutely essential to building wealth.
Getting rich is about taking risks and getting lucky at the same time. If you make 50k a year and live like a hermit off 35k you have ~15k a year to throw towards investments etc. You may get lucky early on and hit a 10 bagger but likely it will take a long time to appreciate your assets. However, if you're making 150k a year and live like your making 65, you have ~80k a year to play with, every year. You can clear up personal debt and put more towards investments. Add the fact that you can recover easier from a bad investment, and may be more willing to take risks because you know you have piles of money coming in.
I'm talking about traditional investments for a working man, high risk small cap stocks/ real estate/ silent partner in a small business etc.
Just IMO, doctors can be broke and teachers can be millionaires, it's all on how you spend and invest.
I have a couple ebooks for anyone who's interested, pm me with an email address if you want any of these:
