    squatting, enough leg work?

    is squatting 2x a week, 5 sets of 5 reps, good form, enough for legs? ps there would also be some calf work to complement at then end of the workout

    i want to keep workouts as short as possible

    Need to hit hamstrings, too. Don't want to create a muscle imbalance. That's what puts you at risk for injury.

    well depends on where youre at in training. when i first started training out legs, 5 sets of squatting with good form was enough to tear my legs up and leave them exhausted. Even if i tried to do lunges or leg press they wud be too tired. No since ive been training them more often, i have to add in lunges, leg press, hamstring raises, and some other exercises. My legs have build up endurance and it takes more time and work to break up the muscle fibers again. only you would know when enough is enough.
