    Yeah, stop taking it.

It has a stimulant in it that raises your HR and probably your BP as well. If you drink soda or take in caffeine in addition to Hydroxycut (or any other stimulant) you can pump your BP and HR up enough to make you feel dizzy or shaky. Some people are just way more sensitive to it than others are. Chances are if you used to be a soda or coffee drinker, it won't affect you much unless you are still drinking that stuff. If you have not tolerance for caffeine it may make you feel like crap.

    Ditto....

Let's see... It artificially raises your blood pressure, heart rate, and make you dizzy and feel faint...

    AND YOU KEEP TAKING IT!!!!

Ever think about just making a better diet and living healthier?

Hi there, old post BUT thought I’d give my two cents since someone might still come across this ...

I’m a medical graduate and a fitness enthusiast and from my limited medical knowledge and reviewing the ingredients of Hydroxycut elite using my trusted supplement research review website (examine.com) “which I suggest anyone to use for figuring out effects of individual supplement ingredients from labels”

The only ingredient that could be a possible cause of the dizziness “which as a recent user of hydroxycut” I had experienced myself ... is Yohimbe

Basically because it seems to have a minor decrease in cerebral (brain) blood flow which will cause lightheadedness ...

Contrary to what some other comments say, hydroxycut should not cause enough rise in blood pressure UNLESS overdosed !!!

And even if a person has a severe rise in their blood pressure the commonest symptom of that would be headache and blurred vision not dizziness ...

This was not intended as medical advise, but sharing some limited information from a medical graduate ... please see ur doctor in case of fainting, severe headache or vomiting or any sustained symptoms with use of any supplement ...

And thank you for posting although it's a dead thread.

At least the advice was solid and I actually didn't know about the cerebral blood flow from yohimbine.

However feel free to post advice on more current posts to help current active members. As old posts are usually locked by moderators for good reason.

Hydroxycut and other weight loss pills formulas change almost every year. Hydroxycut seems to come out with a new formula 3-4x a year, which is just ridiculous. I would not be surprised if back in 2010 it contained some ingredients which are now banned which could have also caused problems.

I have a good joke about water retention. But I'm going to hold onto it for now.
