hey everyone. im doing a 4 month cut and just took some pictures this morning as soon as i got up. ive been cuting for a month and a half and though i have a long way to go get to my ideal cut for the summer i looked at the 1st day (also taken first thing in morning) and see a little bit of progress. ive lost about 9lbs. (190ish to 182) and my strength and has gone up in every lift. the first two weeks i didnt count calories but instead just focused on getting used to eating healthy and getting alot of protein. this is my first real cut that ive dedicated myself to and want to look great for the summer. im just starting to play around with my micros in my diet besides protein. i have not yet used creatine and will begin to use it soon. ive taken mono plenty before but has got me bloated which was probably the cause of the excess dextrose and poor diet not the creatine alone. my goal is to get under 10% by middle of summer
suppls im taking now are omega 3,6,9 tabs, multi from walmart, 4everfit whey isolate, iforce Hemavol, muslcemilk
diet: around 1500-1700cals a day with 170-200grams protein
sample:
1030am- 1 slice of double fiber wheat bread, 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese, a cup of v8 light, 1 scoop of protein, 3 cups coffee, multi, omega tab
1230-serving of v8 light 1/2 cup fat free yogurt, 1/2 cup oats, omega tab
2pm- workout
pwo meal 2 scoops whey, 8oz pure blueberry/pomegranate juice, serving v8 light
6pm 8-12oz chicken with serving of hummus
8pm 1-2 scoops of whey, omega tab
1030 8oz chicken salad with celery and light miracle whip
bedtime- 1 tablespoon natty peanut butter
workout 4-5 days a week with light cardio sessions after workout, 1-2 days a week ill do a quick 10-15min kettlebell workout

thanks everyone i feel over this past week or so ive really gotten my diet and workout down so all i have to do now is fine tune micros and keep on going. this site motivates and informs me on so many things.
i have been measuring my arms, legs and waist every week and have not lost any size in arms or legs, but have in waist from 37-34.
i want to get as lean as i possibly can. i want to see how i look with a six pack and low body fat. a couple years ago in college i was probably around 11-12% and i didnt even have to try . its been a goal of mine for a long time but things have gotten in the way everytime. i want to push myself as hard as i can and as far as i can go. i

Great job man. Hopefully I'll look something like you in 1.5 months. Do you use a lot of machines or free weights?

i was originally going to just to 60 days but as the weeks progressed i realized i needed longer. i chose 4 months because it gives me time to adjust and if i end up getting to where i want to be sooner than i will just maintain for the summer.
thanks, i do a mix of both free and machines but for my heavy lifting ill use free weights when i can. i used to do alot of smith machine incline presses and squats but my new gyms are kinda funky and puts alot of pressure on my hurt left front delt so i switched to dumb bells for inclines (cant really do regular bench because of shoulder) i think i always start out with free weights than go to machines.

i havnt yet been keeping a count of exactly how much carbs or fat just protein but i would say probably around 100grams of carbs a day and alot coming from the v8 i drink and other veggies. just this week i started to cut back on my carbs after my post workout meal and will see how it goes. probably around 25-30 grams of fat a day. the fat comes from my muscle milk, omega tabs, peanut butter, hummus and sometimes ill have coconut oil or some canola oil too during the day. i will keep a close eye now on my micros and see how it works. for carbs i make sure i have enough so i can get through my workout with high intensity and have some more so i can recover.
