Hi guys,
I am new to this forum. I am 25 years old, 1.80 m height and 250 pounds and I am trying to loose some weight. I've always been like this and even at this weight I don't actually look fat, but rather chubby which might be because of the robust structure I have.
I used to be at 209 pounds 3-4 years ago when I went to the gym regularly, but not anymore - as most of the people nowadays, I have a very sedentary lifestyle (I do software for a living).
So, my question is what are the options, given the fact that I am not really a noob when it comes to body building ?
1. work out at home - I have:
- 1 pair of barbells (11 pounds each)
- 1 pair of barbells (22 pounds each)
- 1 pair of barbells (44 pounds each)
- one rope (which I sometimes use in the morning after all my neighbors are off to work)
- one exercise ball
- feets which I can use for jogging
2. go to a gym - the drawback to this is that I'll have to go after job and this could mean late in the evening (9:30 pm - 10:30 pm) when I might not actually be very motivated. The good thing is that I could get access to a box bag which will probably help me a lot - from the past experiences it seems like rope jumping and boxing makes me loose the most weight.
Also, if you have any advices, please let me know.
Thanks!
