Why all day? Mix it up. Grean tea and other times just water.

I'd be a little worried about the diuretic effect caffeine has on the body.

You should be drinking at least a gallon of water a day...I can't imagine how much caffeine you'd take in if you ingest a gallon of tea each day.

my bad boys, forgot to mention its caffeine free... ill mix it up a little, just been on water too long and tired of it and the crystal light gives me little cravings for sweets sometimes so i need to find something new...the caffeine free green tea seems to be okay.

caffeine is not a diuretic... it has been proven you excrete just as much as you take in with caffeinated beverages.

I wouldn't substitute for water. Your body needs water, it does not need green tea. Drinking some green tea in conjunction with your water intake should not be a problem though. Just make sure you are drinking enough plain water to satisfy your body's needs.

This is pre-made tea with all of the sugars etc added.. loads of calories.

You should buy a box of tea bags (I use Lipton) and just heat up water, put the bag in, let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then enjoy. No calories. If you really hate the taste you could add a little bit of sugar or honey.

    read... thread

A 2003 study conducted by the UCLA Center for Human Nutrition found that decaffeinated tea contains only a third of the catechins found in regular tea.

Catechins are the most active antioxidants in green tea.

Bro if you like it because of the flavor and whatnot then get after it, but if it's motivated by health concious reasons it's not all that great in this form. Hope this helped if anything, and not trying to rain on your parade

I think that's what he's saying bro. Decaffeinated doesn't contain as much of the good stuff so no point drinking it all day unless you're drinking it for the taste.

lol thx bro........ also actually decaffeinated tea is less-tasteful

Catechins are the most active antioxidants in green tea. They contribute greatly to its flavors. No wonder many complain that decaf tastes awful.
