da fuk?
Why don't land creatures look so fuked up compared to sea creatures?"Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful." Lucius Annaeus Seneca(c. 4 BC ? AD 65)

whatever can withstand 16000 lbs/psi pressure, and is very primitive, can be bigger than 10 orca whales combined; i don't even wanna know what it eats for breakfast, lunch and dinner. since the global warming will affect each and every life form on earth, we will soon find out what lurks beneath.

I always think about this man.
The ocean is so unexplored that it's mind-boggling how little we actually know.
Like said above, only 10% of the ocean is mapped. 10 ****ing percent. What kind of **** could be living down below where we can't even go? I'm talking huge creatures bigger than the dinosaurs? You can't even tell. They could die and go to the bottom instead of floating up top. (srs)

Sinking or floating is about density, not really pressure. Either way the pressure won't start to increase intill you start going down (i.e. after the ship already sank).
If you meant that as the ship won't hit the bottom, then maybe. But as I said before it's about density and it takes A LOT of pressure to compress water even a little bit.
Force= Pressure x Area
The larger the surface area of the animal the more force it would be subjected to. Size is all relative though, huge creatures could be adapted to that much pressure.
Right now we're all subjected to about 14.7psi but we don't even percieve that."Adversity reveals genius, prosperity conceals it."
Think about what you want in life. Then ask yourself what you're doing to achieve it.
