Failed since im sick and when i have a cold/flu i get these weird monstrous binges for protein even tho i dont even lift. Starting again day 1 tomorrow.
On the other hand, this whole cutting thing is finally giving results, top 2 abs when flexed, front delt/upper pec separation, serratus anterior appearing and quite superb back definition (had never taken a pic of my back till yesterday). So i am happy

I need this thread, I'm starting week 5 of my nutrition plan and so far it has been really good except for some slip ups last week, a party after work and I had one beer and some chips, then another night I had some dark choclate but like 5 pieces instead of one and on Friday night I went to all you can eat sushi. It needs to end now before I end up giving up totally and this is usually the pattern. I diet for 3-4-5 weeks then stop, not this time. I'm committed. Thanks!

Alright I am in, I have a serious cheating/binging problem.
I was doing Keto, and I was down to 172.4, that was 5 days ago. Today I am 187!!! I don't know what snapped, but I ate everything in sight for 5 days and often making myself so sick at night I could barely move.
I am going to be eating a 40/40/20 spit this time so that I don't have to worry about out of control carb ups.

I was in Vegas all weekend and ate when I was hungry (but didn't binge at some huge buffet or anything). Probably around maintenance or slightly over Fri-Sun. I said I was going to start back up on Monday but then that night my brother and I got some Mexican food (~1300 cals) after I had already taken in my 1660 for the day. So, I was well over (~400) maintenance that day. Then I said fine, Tuesday starts back up... then my boss wanted to take me to lunch to discuss some projects and that put me pretty high today, probably around maintenance.
I feel like **** and kinda flabby, I was feeling solid in Vegas! So, damn it... STARTING WEDNESDAY, back to my cut. All and all I am up 4 lbs to 185.6 but probably mostly water/waste weight. Adding up the extra cals, I should put on at most a pound of fat.Barely decent crew

Hope you had a good time!!! What did you eat there? Just smaller portions of whatever? I'm headed to vegas this fri-sun for a bachelor party. Ive been trying to figure how to fit my cut into it but I m not sure if its worth it... I really dont want to be that guy in our group who turns everything down, considering Im already more fit than anyone else going. Ive been gettin frustrated lately cause it seems like almost every weekend I have something big going on that usually slows(not kills) my cut. I would really like to take 4-6 weeks and and go MIA and just diet and train. lol.
It sucks to fail... dont give up!

Can we make a "Will Cheat routinely" pact thread?
Cheat meals for those actively on a cut have their uses, and completely denying yourself from the foods you love to eat will only make you less likely to stay on the bandwagon down the road. The trick is to learn how to incorporate the good and the bad into an overall healthy and balanced diet.
Not cheating leads to binging imo.
