    Hydro whey vs whey isolates?

Can anyone give me the scoop on which one of these protiens is more benefitial post workout? I read about the hydro whey all the time but don't see much research to support it. I am looking for a new protien for post workout and don't know if it's worth the price to go with the hydro.

Def not worth the price plus ON's hydrowhey doesn't tell you the % of the di and tri peptides which indicates how good the hydrowhey is. I would just go with a Isolate postworkout that should serve you good plus it's easier on the wallet.

Really not much difference between the two proteins for PWO. You wont see any noticeable difference.

WPI is fine. Most WPHs on the market don't even tell you the percentage of di- and tri- peptides so you don't know what you are even getting. Not that there will be any differences in end point results as it is.

Sticking with my concentrate/isolate blend, 30 bucks for 5lbs and tastes decent. Theres no real benefit of isolate over concentrate to be honest unless of lactose issues.

hydro whey is digested/absorbed quicker. if you have the money, then yes hydro is better, but if you'd rather save a dime then no, hydro is not going to make you that much bigger/stronger. i took it on a cut cycle PW just to ensure my body absorbed all it needed as fast as it could and it worked great in that situation. and you'll find more and more post's using hydro in their formula now, but as the previous people have said they dont list exactly how "hydrolized" it is.

It gets absorbed and digested and deaminated and used faster by your liver than your muscles too. Fan-****ing-tastic.

Hydro whey is better for intra & post workout. There is a lot of research on it actually using actual athletes.

It would be better if there was a head to head study however there is no doubting that hydro whey has benefits.

    WPI

No research yet showing WPH is better. There's only theory and when you examine all the research, results are mixed on the efficiency of WPH. Save your money.

WPH alone is too expensive in my opinion for possibly the same results. IMHO a mix of proteins (casein/whey) is the way to go.

And for WPH, I would like to see an increase in % of hugeness correlate with % of hydrolysis. I, kid of course, but much of the data is a stretch.

I buy it because I have high cholesterol. I have done some basic research that states whey cholesterol is not bad for you but should still be considered in your overall daily intake. ON Hydro Whey 30 g protein 5 mg cholesterol, ON Gold Standard Whey regular 24 g protein 55 mg cholesterol. ...It's a significant difference when it comes to cholesterol.
