Question Fasted cardio, what to eat after?

So I'm going to start doing cardio in the mornings before eating anything because I hear that that's the best way to burn off fat.

I will do a 10 minute walking warmup followed by long jog on the treadmill (start off with 20 minutes, and then add more minutes every week)..

I will be DYING for food after this, what should I eat?

    Thanks!!
i do it for the lulz!

As far as burning fat goes anyway. I dont see how you can build this way, but he wants to lose fat.

Let's put the potential catabolism aside for a minute.

Here is a chart showing fasted subjects:

Mean absolute (A) and relative (B) substrate oxidation rates in trained and untrained subjects in fasted nutritional state at 22, 40, 59, and 75% O2 peak. P < 0.05 for both * and #.

    (from this study http://jap.physiology.org/cgi/content/full/86/2/479 )

Compare that against this chart showing fed subjects

Mean absolute (A) and relative (B) substrate oxidation rates in trained and untrained subjects in fed nutritional state at 22, 40, 59, and 75% O2 peak. CHO, carbohydrate. P < 0.05 for both * and #.

Most people who talk about doing cardio fasted are talking about HIIT. As you can see from the above charts comparing fasted to fed cardio at different intensity levels, it is a myth that you will burn huge amounts of fat when fasted vs fed, when talking about HIIT.

What about carbs during/after cardio? I wake up and jump on the elliptical and sip an ON Recovery 2:1:1 shake throughout and pound what is left when I am done working out. This seems to help me get through the workout and I feel pretty good afterwards. About 2 hours later, I have a small meal of real food with complex carbs and protein.
    Cutting
1800 Calories (Clean) with 1 Gallon Water
    Max OT Training 5X/Week
    Spinning 3X/Week
