I need to correct my form on lateral raises. Every time I do two handed laterals it hits my traps to much. Any advice or even any other exercises that hit the medial head of your delts?

With Lateral Raises, don't bring your hands up above the level of your shoulders. This will normally help minimize trap involvement. Also, don't swing, or otherwise use momentum to raise the dumbbells, and lower them slowly and under control.
If you don't have any impingement issues, you can also try Upright Rows. Some experimenting with grip width to minimize trap involvement here will be necessary. No brain, no gain.

i do my lateral raises one arem at a time with DB..two arms and i feel i use too much momentum and my form gets sloppy..i basically start out with my arm at a 90 degree angle with the DB right to the side of me..theni raise my arm up keeping it bent at a 90 degree angle...its the only way i feel my side delts being used
as for other exercises..the best exercise for side delts IMO is upright rows with a shoulder width grip
