Not sure about preps. Reps and repped I believe would refer to the "reputation" scale on the boards. Do you see the green bar under your avatar on the left? That is your reputation scale. If someone likes something you said, they can give you "reps" and that will make your green bar build. Someone can also give a "neg" if they think something you said was mean or offensive, and that makes the bar red.

So if someone likes a post and adds to your reputation they may say something like, "Thanks, that helped. I repped you."

As far as other lingo used here you kinda have to be more specific because there is a lot. If you go into the main misc. section or the teen section I'm not even sure they are speaking English anymore with all the slang they use. Are there any specific terms you aren't sure about besides rep?

Haha yes possible definitions:

Prep = preparation (as in for a competition)
Prep = positive rep (as in a positive vote on someone's post)
Prep = a rich kid (proto-yuppie)
