Does anyone else think its weird...
as a woman yourself to be constantly checking out half-naked women's pictures lol! I find myself scrolling through pictures for motivation and only half realizing that these pictures are probably meant for the opposite sex! And here I am going WOW look at her butt how do I get one like that.. as I stare at some g-stringed model for motivation. I mean not ALL the pictures are like that but who am I to judge their choice of clothing? a good body is a good body and should be appreciated by anybody right?
Then of course I don't do i when my hubby walks by because he might find it strange or maybe a turn on lol I don't know! but it's like my dirty little secret or something!
But it never really occurred to me as being weird until just now when I saw someone post a picture of Eric Bana in Troy in a motivation post and realized I haven't looked at many pic's of guys lately..!

Ha I know what you're saying.
But for me personally, no. I don't find it odd. Because I'm looking just for motivation.
HOWEVER, I'd be more observant of my surroundings, if I'm on a public computer or environment. People are overly-curious, and quick to jump to conclusions.

haha! Yes I think it's a little wierd, but I do it too. One of my male friends keeps telling me how unattractive muscles are on women (of course he has no muscle to speak of himself). I hunted on line for pictures of women in sexy bikini poses, then the same women in competition pictures. When I sent them to him, he thanked me for the bikini pictures, didn't believe they were the same women as the competition pictures, and wanted to know more about my "habit" of looking at sexy women online. Like you said, motivation.

For what it is worth, I check out guys pics and I am 100% heterosexual. Same reasons as you. Motivation and many articles on diet and excercise are filled with pics.

I dont find it strange. I had found a pic of Jamie Eason that I thought was great and so used it as my wall paper to motivate me to always work towards my goal. When my hubby picked up my comp he was all like "whats this???" so i explained to him.
He was so sweet he went and found me a whole bunch of pictures and made a collage for me as a wall paper while I was at the gym. It is the most motivating thing to me now!

I look at picture of other guys also, just to compare and to gain motivation. Also, its a way to identify where I want to be in the near future. It's kind of like writing down your goals, except I'm doing it through a picture... not strange at all.
And yes, I agree...girls are pretty. :-)

Oh wow! I bet he enjoyed doing that too!
I'm thinkin of putting some as my wallpaper too now that I know other people are doing it.. it kind of reminds me when I feel like going into the kitchen and grabbing something I shouldn't if I think I bet SHE doesn't do that...

HA! If you could only hear my boyfriend every night when I am on bb.com looking at pics galore for motivation, states similar to mine, etc..."On there again huh?"...He is so used to it by now, although I do get grief once in a while
I have Pauline on my background, the awesome squat wallpaper I got on here from another thread. Everyone knows I am a training/food junkie, so my friends at school don't budge when they see half naked ripped women on my laptop

Nope, I go on BB at my high school and teachers give me weird looks. That's okay.

This thread cracks me up because I just had a guy friend at school tell me people were probably thinking I'm a lesbian because of constantly looking at women in bikinis (mostly Jamie Eason, as I find her extremely motivating). My FH likes the way the women look so he doesn't find it odd, but he does get frustrated if I compare myself to them too much. I think he'd much prefer that than me looking at pictures of other guys.

I do it too and I never look at guys pictures because I mostly do it for motivation and comparison. I don't want my body to look like a man's I want it to look like a woman's so I look at women. Looking at men is pointless because my arms would never get that big and I would never want them to look that big or I would lose my femininity.
I guess I mainly look at women who have characteristics that I wish I had. I think I'm obsessed with the whole hamstring/glute area and I wish that my butt didn't touch the backs of my legs at all. I guess I just like butts and I can't lie! lol on men and women and I'm completely heterosexual. There's nothing wrong with wanting a perfect ass (or abs or legs or you name "x" bodypart) and there's nothing wrong with looking at others for motivation to obtain it.

Brilliant! This reminds me of a time I was questioned as to whether I was homosexual because of doing this.

My husband and I look at pix together. His rationale is probably way different than mine though

I don't think it is weird but a friend of mine told me that they thought it was weird. If you think another woman has a nice body than you may want to know how they sculpted their body (unless it is genetic lol).
If a women has a nice shape i will think what training do they do and if it is possible ask them.

Guys can think whatever they want. But if they say ANYTHING about what I look at or do, they are exhibiting recognized signs of insecurities and abusive personalities and I freeze on them. Some guys go ballistic if they know a woman watches porn.
Like, a couple days ago, a male friend who thinks he's some kind of stud, made the comment that not very many women have vibrators or watch porn.
I replied, "My aren't we insecure today. Not all my friends watch porn, but most have or do. And we ALL have a vibrator,at least, lol."
Of course, not all guys are like that. Some understand that I am responsible for my own body and what I do for motivation and maintenance is personal, *my* business.
There's nothing wierd about looking at the pictures if they benefit the quality of your living. Just my humble 4 cents (inflation adjustment).
