But if you could maximize glycogen storage using chrome and vanadyl while simultaneously loosing fat, wouldnt it be a win win situation where by you wouldnt have to like restrict carbs to achieve a lower insulin output? ( and maintaining fullness in the muscle)
ULTIMATELY, its the efficacy of chrome and vanadyl and its ability to affect glucose disposal and lowered insulin output... So my question is, do you think its effective or worth it?

That's just it...they don't.
When they first came out decades ago, the theory was that they WOULD, but no research has ever shown them to do what the claims said they would. And that is exactly why they have faded out of the market and only pop up every so often - along with other supplements that don't work, but companies insist on bringing them back to sell you "new" stuff.
Take a look at what has been out on the market and STAYED out on the market - those are the ones that are proven to work (i.e. creatine).
By all means, if you want to buy the stuff, be my guest. Money is much better spent elsewhere if you have the spare cash...

1) If I had access to both, I would use Anabolic Pump before every meal except pre and post workout. The GLUT4 activation will lower the insulin response - which essentially means you can eat more carbs with less insulin released. For pre-workout, I would use Pslin before the meal and for post-workout I would use ALA with the meal as it potentiates the insulin response (making more insulin secrete for a given amount of carbs) for the spike and replenishment of glycogen.
See the difference?
2) What I am saying is that nutrient timing will do wonders for maximizing nutrient uptake and make those supplements obsolete anyway. Now as you get stage lean, things become trickier, but I have yet to see any hard evidence that those supplements do what they claim in anyone who has normal chromium levels and no medical condition concerning insulin.
3) No...D3 is more for mood and an immune system boost...it will pretty much make you bulletproof to about 90% of all viruses and help give you that "sunshiny day" mood on a consistent basis.

That def clears things up at first look, when I have longer then a minute between classes ill retake a look for better understanding.
So basically what your saying under point number 1 that if I utilize nutrient timing correctly, the use of ALA will not do anything further for me as it will become obselete because of my correct use of nutrient timing? I think thats what your saying I just wanted to clarify.
As I understand it proper pre and post workout nutrition timing is that for pre-workout, eat the meal 1 -1 1/2 hours before training. And then post workout have your meal as quickly as possible after?
I norm bring a p shake with about 48g of protein and 40g of carbs (from banana) immediately after training and then have another meal (solid food) within 45 mins or so after training with about 60g or so carbs.
I typically the two meals I norm have before I train and the two I have after training I eat the majority of carb macro.
Thoughts on this? I guess Im kind of unsure if its better to slam down most of my postworkout carbs in my shake or to split it up like above. When I research it, i get varied opinions.

Lol what? My b its not just one giant banana. I do like a banana and a half which is around 40g of carb. Is that what your asking? haha but no I have not "roid bananas"
Thanks for your input tho, your right and nail on the head when you say you gotta solve the puzzle of your own body.
I want to try to have my largest carb meals around my workouts so I have as much for pre and post as possible.Six Star Pro Nutrition Lead Rep
