We are now officially underway with 168 contestants (according to my count). Everybody should have been assigned to a team (see team rosters in the next post).
Here are the rules:
1. Weigh in every Monday. The official Weigh-in thread is here: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=123233291
Every Sunday evening I will post a link to a form that you will need to submit with your BB.com Screen Name, Team Name, and Weight. You must complete all three things to submit the form. The form for week 1 looks like this: https://spreadsheets.google.com/view...aW9FbUJ6akE6MA You can fill that one out if you'd like, but we've almost got everybody's weigh-ins from week 1. If you don't fill out the form with your weight, it will not be recorded. I hate to be so stingy with this, but otherwise I'll spend hours and hours tracking down people's weights. I encourage you guys to keep each other accountable. Check in on your team's spreadsheet, and if you notice somebody hasn't got their weight updated, send them a message with the link to the form. You'll have Monday and Tuesday to submit the form. On Wednesday, I'll try and copy all the data from the form to the spreadsheets, so do me a favor and please, please get the form submitted on Monday or Tuesday of each week.
For the last week, I'll make one final weigh-in form that will need to be completed on Sunday or Monday of the last week.
2. Disqualification If you don't update anything for 2 weeks, you are out of the contest.
3. Winners. We will track two things with the spreadsheets: weight lost, and % of original body weight lost. We can use these two things to determine a winner, but they are not the best indicators of a true transformation. A person might lose weight and gain muscle, and the net weight loss might be minimal. So, in the end, we'll all vote on the winner. Please take photos and record other metrics like bodyfat % and tape measurements of your body. You can get a decent bodyfat % by using the Navy method here: http://www.bblex.de/en/calc/navy.php. It's not the most accurate in the world, but it will give you something to go by. I use it and like it. We will then take all these data into account to select our winner.
4. Be nice, and be smart. Take time to encourage each other. Start up or join a team thread and participate in it. Don't starve yourself - be smart about what you eat and how you go about weight loss. If you are new to dieting (I noticed a lot of people were new to the boards), make sure you are going for a lifestyle change, not a crash/fad diet. Don't see this as "12 weeks of this diet and I'm done", see it as "this is how I want to eat and feel for the rest of my life". Track your food intake in some kind of log our journal. I use http://www.fitday.com. If you are eating 1200 a day or less - EAT MORE FOOD. That is not healthy, especially if you are working out - and yes, even if you are female. Don't do something that will harm you in order to win some dumb contest.

Check out your team's spreadsheet. If your weight hasn't been updated, fill out the weigh-in form for week 1 above, and I'll get it updated.

Team D here, guys no you can't join its too late to join but you can post in the thread and act as if you was part of a team.
