I want to start incorporating more Cottage Cheese into my diet. I packed a 1/2 cup in my lunch today and while edible I pretty much had to choke it down.
Do you guys have any snacks to mix it with that make it go down easier?

d4000 gave me this idea:
"Prepare 1 box SF jello into two containers of water (1cup each) and while dissolving put 1/2-1c Cottage cheese in each. Let stiffen in fridge (4hrs). An hour or so before you want to eat one, stir in 1 scoop protein powder (and if you want fruit too you can do that) and put in freezer. "
It's more of a meal, but in my family we actually mix in cottage cheese with spiral noodles to make a sort of mac and cheese. It's delicious, but probably only if you like cottage cheese.~Barefooters Crew~

The past few nights I've had this before bed:
1/2 cup cottage cheese
2 tbsp peanut butter
1/2 cup Peanut Butter Crunch cereal
Obviously, you can use a different cereal if you'd like... but man, it is amazing.Upgraded from "curls for the girls" to "rows for the hoes".

Take cottage cheese, mix with peanutbutter, cocoa powder and why and mix. Stick in freezer for like 45 mins and you get a great tasting ice cream kinda thing.

i like it by itself too, but looking for ideas. Ive been using a cup for lunch and a cup for dinners now. its great, easy to prepare! i usually pick up 1/2 dozen of those lil tubs per week. I also get some with pineapples in it, man its good. lil high in carbs but i will eat some for lunch maybe with an egg or egg whites or something.
i like some of these ideas though so will try some!Used to be fat, now just fat with a lot of muscle.

I love plain cottage cheese. Honestly, my wife tries to put fruit on it, but I just set that aside and eat it seperately. I love the taste and texture of cc all by itself.

I mix a tub of it with a small box of instant sugar free pudding. I blend it up with an electric handmixer and put it in the freezer for 15 min. It reminds me of a cheese cake.

2 servings of cottage cheese
add 1/2 scoop of your favorite chocolate whey protein
add 1 tablespoon of hershey unsweetened cocoa
add 2 packets truvia or splenda
mix thoroughly
sprinkle cinnamon on top
throw into the freezer for 1.5 - 2hrs
it will freeze to a nice, thick, frosty consistency and makes for a delicious, refreshing, and nutritious snack that is low carb and has fast & slow digesting protein as well as some fat. i have it pre-workout religiously. and pre-bedtime

Had to come back and post another great one I found. Its nothing original, but its DAMN tasty and relatively low on cals.
200g Cottage Cheese
1/2 pack of sugar free/fat free jello
1-2 cups of water.
Blend. Refridgerate.
Ive had both the chocolate and cheesecake. Damn tasty. With the chocolate I also added some XF Chocolate PB whey and it was fantastic. Im sure adding any good flavored whey will only improve the taste and profile. Also the cals though. The one I did is ~214 cals and 25g protein.Team Never Full
